Very quality parts they can turn out. I used to do infusion there around 2006. A lot has changed. Especially the cnc. Didn't pay much, but everyone there was proud. We did very good infusions on top parts. Theres not one intrepid out there with spider cracking in the gel coat on top parts. We used very good coreing and sanded thoroughly before laying up the 17s and 18s.
I love this series! and Ken's mustache is boating gloriousness!! you have to assume with a mustache like that he has to know a thing or 2 about good fishing and boats 😎🙌👌
I hate that the only reason stated for doing resin infusion is to save weight. How about saying that resin infusion reduces weight, reduces labor, reduces build time, and reduces cost which we pass on to the customer while keeping the part just as strong as a hand layup.
What a super SUPER salesman, yes a boat should have 5 drink fridges, make it 6.. I'll order 2 boats tomorrow probably will send me broke though, hope they can attract the fish for me
Observation: "The shop's filthy" "The shop's filthy" "The shop's filthy" Aparrently those whiners have never worked anywhere. Or mowed their own filthy yard.
I love how he explains everything in details. So fascinating. Great tour.
This is why I aspire to one day own an Intrepid.
Finally. A easy to comprehend explanation for why Intrepid’s are unique. “Tender Market”. Never knew. Glad I stumbled on this. Well done.
Love this... please keep producing more factory tours!
LOVE THIS TOO!!!! Its great to see how much attention to details the manufacturers take in producing their products!
Very informative and he knows his boats.

Robalo Factory Friday, please. Thank you!
Nice!!!
What is the purple compound that is used to fair the boat called..?
Sounded like "dicum". I've used a similar product called Mirka that is black. It's generically called dry guide coat.
@@brianstone3972 thank you Brian ; google gives desired results with dry guide coat,

If you have the money why would you not buy an intrepid? MIdnight and some of the other less quality boats are just as expensive.
I'm gelcoat finisher...I need a job wheres the campany?
I've watched several of the tours now and I'm completely underwhelmed. This is old tech touted as wonderful. Eat it up uninformed consumers.
Vacuum infusion is not new...
