Present I am fasing the same issue, I will try you are telling all methods it is not work out me, while I am pressing ESC button , it will ask again and again system password..it does not go for the further process.
My laptop shows the boot screen for a split second after i press esc key continuously, but then it automatically resumes with the booting process. How do i fix it?

Hi i was also getting depressed. But i just press esc key continously and it shows please wait on screen then i press f8 key again and again and it works. WITHIN JUST TWO STEP. IT DONT SHOW ME THIRD STEP.

Thank you so much you saved my lappy, 15 stressful hours later, I did what you suggested and selected the windows 10 version and it got started up. I cannot thank you enough.
I am now creating a backup and recovery pendrive, only then i will switch off or restart the computer, I haven't dared to switch it off aftet it started

Thanks Gaurav, I think it's nice to point out that the keys to go recovery mode are different for each brand. Mine, I found it with a simple Google search. Then you can start from there. Your technique worked for me. Thanks a lot ☺️

I mistakly close my windows 10 dell laptop while it's updating then I turn on then showing undoing changes made to your computer then only it's showing and not closing then I then I only shut the screen and after researching on UA-cam how to fix this problem I watched your video then I opened the screen off laptop 💻 and it's showing full black screen then I moved mouse then it open like normally and I entered password and I opened it then first i clicked on start button and it opened like normally then I shocked then I remembered that I have inserted quick hell total security then if i close start button with then it automatically closed and opened again then I closed it with button and it normally closed then I shut downed my laptop and I not opened till now from two days now what she'll I do now

Tried all the 3 methods u mentioned, Nothing worked..
Also watched a couple of videos, showing esc and then f11 key method.
But in my case when i press esc key, it pops up a box asking from which source should it load OS from.. like hdd or other source and then if i select hdd and press f11, then nothing happens.
And Miraculously after 10-15 min it restated and started working on its own..
So anybody having the same problem as me, pls let the laptop do its thing, atleast 30 min, depends on ur storage speeds as well, if it is not working then only go for other methods.
