i've been playing overwatch since it first released back in 2016. it's a game that has resulted in some lifelong friendships that i still cherish. it was playing overwatch that we noticed how often i will mimic the speech patterns & attitude of whatever character i'm playing in a video game.
needless to say, echo became a personal favorite when she released. although i maybe still wish duplicate worked a little differently (go look up rubick's "spell steal" from dota 2!) she's a character i am always happy to see.
there's another reason why echo is close to my heart, but i'll let the song speak for itself. i'm not sure if anyone understands her story as much as i do.
