@@meierboy97 Ohh, thanks, dude!
Jarrett Meier lol excactly
I got something something jump the “F” up at a slip knot concert.
Damn, that distorted sound at the intro is huge. Nice demo as always
Great video man. I've only just found your channel. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks!
I really like this kind of sound, i think this bass is perfect for me!
I'd love me a mayonnaise bass.
Sounds great
Love this bass ❤️❤️❤️
Nice looking bass
I want to learn how to play bass after watching this overview
Hi Gregor, I wish we could know what amp is used in each and every review... Thanks for the great presentation !
Ihr macht Spass!
bridge pickup Aguilar AG 4J-HC 2:29
neck pickup Aguilar AG 4P 3:15
So many of these Mayo basses tick the right boxes for me, except they often use wide nut width. Very frustrating.
The Jabba models are thin like a jazz bass.
how much does it weigh?
Epico
How much?
Sounds good, looks good, I like it... But what's the price?
I'm going to guess roughly $3000 USD
@@basswanderer2765 Good guess, I'd figure about that also.
Just buy a high end Ibanez or a $1400 Lakland that has PJ pickups and swap for Aguilars. Most of the tone from a bass is its electronics. Once you pass that mark of around $1500 your just buying a name and "craftsmanship".
@@jasonz1771 True that, but you get what you pay for. But when I purchase a boutique bass one day, it will be a Mayones.
@@bergjohnson5273 yeah and around $3000 dollars your not paying for tone or playability. Your paying for a name and pretty woods and that word they love to use, craftmanship. I know what your talking about though. Even though I know I could put some MEC pickups/eletronics in a cheaper bass that has a perfect neck, like a Lakland, I still want a Warwick thumb lol.
the head looks smaller than usuall?
Nah, its the regular patriot shape all around.
Noch ein mal...langsam und deutlich...Eierlegend Wollmilchsau
“egg-laying wool-milk-sow” eierlegendes und milchgebendes Wollschwein “egg-laying and milk-giving wool-pig”
Jack of all trades (master of none)
It's very hard to find some equivalent to eierlegende Wollmilchsau. The term Swiss army knife can be used but it completely loses the connotation of the miraculous/impossible. You could say do-everything bass or do-it-all bass. Best option is to teach English speakers the delightful concept and stick to German. They loved Schadenfreude so why not teach them eierlegende Wollmilchsau? 😀
Polish production , amazing job... Warwick Basses can hide xD
It’s pronounced MY ON EZ
He knows, yet he chose to please English speakers for whatever reason.
You both are wrong xD
Leepek He's right, he just wrote it in a way English speakers would be able to read.
@@xmaverickhunterkx No, but of course I'm joking a little. Its just a polish brand that in 80's want to make name of company sounds more 'global' :D
In polish syllables are: ma yo nes (from majonez [ma-jo-nez] - translation - mayo) xD
Nothing's like a FENDER P bass if you want to sound like a P bass... Nothing's like a FENDER J bass if you want to sound like a J bass.
Lately Xotic has made some precision and jazz basses which are really cool cause they can sound very fender like but also can sound very "modern boutique" like.
If I'd pick a bass without worrying about $$$ I'd get the Chuck Rainey signature for sure
A bass guitar for almost 2000 quids called Mayonnaise, oh sorry Mayones? No but thank you. I know there is a customer for every quirk in the market and that is fine with me. But also there is almost an infinite supply of bass guitars with better names, and even better or equal specifications. At least it's not Ketchup :)
Speaking less and playing more will be much better
