“Παιχνίδια” ήταν τα όργανα και “παιχνιδιάτορες” οι μουσικοί, στην γλώσσα της ελληνικής υπαίθρου. Αυτός ο δίσκος συγκεντρώνει παραδοσιακά τραγούδια από την Ελλάδα αλλά και δικές μου συνθέσεις, που παίζουμε εδώ και πολλά χρόνια με τους φίλους και συνοδοιπόρους μου Στρατή Ψαραδέλλη, Νίκο Παραουλάκη, Γιώργο Βεντουρή, Τάσο Πούλιο και Βαγγέλη Καρίπη. Τους ευχαριστώ μέσα από την καρδιά μου για τις αμέτρητες στιγμές παιχνιδιού και χαράς.

“Pehnidia” (literally “toys, playthings”) is the word that was used in rural parts of Greece for musical instruments and their players. This album is a compilation of Greek folk songs and compositions of my own which I have been playing for many years with my friends and fellow musicians Stratis Psaradellis, Nikos Paraoulakis, Giorgos Ventouris, Tasos Poulios and Vangelis Karipis. I thank them from the innermost of my heart for all the playful and joyous moments we have shared together.
