I am a 70 years old Army Vet and I'm retired and disabled. Due to my medical issues I don't do a whole lot but sit at home most of the time. But a couple of years ago I discovered all of the reaction videos here on UA-cam. They have been a godsend to me. Now I sit and watch all of you reactors every day and it makes me forget all about my troubles. Thank y'all so much for the joy you bring me. Like I said, I've been watching reactions for a couple of years now and I discovered you two while watching reactions for Stranger Things 4. You guys have quickly become two of my very favorites. Thank you so much for brightening an old man's day.
You are still young Baby Boomer Remember you are not the greatest generation. Those were your big brothers and sisters when you were a baby😊. You are the " Up Yours" first Entitled. Sometimes it skips Generations.
Exactly😂 criston's personality was sktechy and clingy ...from beginning...and got worse and evil later... Daemon and him are totally different... daemon is straightforward as it is.. "the rouge prince with perfect balance of light and darkness that makes him villain for some but hero for others especially the common folks"
18:45 The First Dragon, Red in color, is a new Dragon that debuts in this Episode and is called "Meleys" and is Princess Rhaenys Targaryen's Dragon. The Gray Dragon behind is Seasmoke, the Dragon of the Son of Rhaenys, Laenor Velaryion, who we first saw in episode 3, in the War of the Steptones.
Criston feels that without his honor, he has nothing. His extreme guilt leads him to confess to the queen. The fact that she hasn’t said what, if any, consequences he may suffer, has him on edge. Then, when Joffrey approaches him and assumes that Criston would continue behaving with dishonor, he snapped and released all his frustrations out on Joffrey
He threw away his honor when he broke his vow and took advantage of an intoxicated, teenage princess that he swore to honor and protect. Alicent should have had him punished or executed. He's lucky she has a need for him.
to add on to this. i dont believe criston really loved rhaenyra. he may have liked her. but the reason he asked her to run away with him was to try and restore his honor like he mentioned in the speech he gave to her. honor is everything to him.
Daemon knows whats going on. He is good at reading people. When Alicent stood up to talk to her uncle and exchanged looks with Rhaenyra, he caught that; also he didnt stand up when Alicent arrived, Viserys also sees it. In the books, Daemon hates Alicent lol. Cant wait for Dance of the Dragons.
For what we see Criston snaps when he realised someone random (other than Rhaenyra and the queen) knows about his secret and expects him to continue in that behaviour. Some people interpreted it as Joffrey subtly threatening Cole (and maybe in Criston's head he interpreted it as such) but Joffrey really just said "Let's keep the bride and groom and their secrets safe" About Viserys rushing the wedding, I think it is in part because he's impatient and stressed at that point, but we also saw him watching Daemon and Rhaenyra dangerously close. And as far as the king knows, his brother could try and seduce the princess during the celebrations, so he makes sure that Laenor and her are married as soon as possible, wether they like it or not
The Hightowers wearing green isn't much of problem because that's their color. But Alicent is a Queen of Targaryen King and it is Targaryen wedding feast. So she's supposed to wear something in targaryen color... Black or Red. Similar to something that she wore after she married Viserys. The fact that we saw her wearing blue after viserys fired her father and then back wearing green again after she found out rhaenyra betrayed her trust.... It's subtle way for her to "say" she's tired of their shit and finally stand up for herself. Btw, rick and morty season 6... When?
In the series it is not clear but each house has its own color and uses it a lot. The starks use gray, Tyrell green, Arryn blue. There's a dialogue between Sam's sister and Gilly that she says: You are from the north, what is your color? gray? referring to the dress.
i think that Cole realized Rhaenyra doesn't really care for him besides using him for her pleasure. like the conversation with Alicent shows his broken oath practically means a death sentence. the smug way Laenor's lover approached him, made him snap. The Dornish aren't especially known for their emotional restraint
What would you propose, that Daemon slit her throat? It was an accident, the horse smelled dragon on him and got spooked. He chose to maintain the illusion of an accident and to not let her suffer.
Fun fact: Damon didn’t actually mean for that to happen Horse got spooked by the fact he smelled like dragon (their main predator) and his rider panicking It was a convenient accident for Damon
As the daughter of another Vietnam vet, thank you for your service. I will forever be grateful to you, and others have done for us, even if the others forget.
Green to the Hightowers is like gold and red to the Lannisters, or black and red to the Targaryens. It's the color that represent their houses, so it is normal for Alicent's relatives from the Oldtown to wear green, just like the Lannisters are wearing gold and red. However for Alicent, after she married Viserys, she had been wearing Targeryen-style (mainly black and red, and often has the collar/shoulder piece spreading outwardly like wings of a dragon) dresses, especially in formal occasions. This is to show that once married, women are supposed to follow the traditional or culture of their husbands' houses. Just like in GOT, when Sansa was planned to be married to Joffrey, she changed her hairstyle and the way she dresses in order to fit in King's Landing, because that is what she's supposed to do once she wed Joffrey. This is exactly why everyone was shocked to see Alicent coming down the hall in her green dress, not only because she interupted the king's speech, but also because of her position as the Queen. It's almost kind of disrespectful for her to wear that dress at a Targeryen wedding as a Queen married to a Targeryen king. But I liked this scene a lot. I think it's very "Alicent-like" that as a noble lady, she chose to express her rage through a dress. This is her sending out a message clear and loud that she will not be a puppet Queen anymore.
@17:18 he's being crazy honest. Remember what John Snow said: "When enough people make false promises, words stop meaning anything. Then there are no more answers, only better and better lies." Well Ser Criston is the antithesis of that. He's no liar, he's been used by Rhaenyra, lost his honor, lost everything. So at least he's gonna tell the truth and be honest one last time before he dies. But...he won't die ;) @18:47 Seasmoke and Meleys aka The red queen...beautiful, Rhaenys female dragon ;)
The ending montage was my favorite scene so far. Give me the aesthetics of the red hue of the weirdwood tree glowing in twilight, give me the flickering lights, give me the gloomy ambience of a GoT wedding with an equally gloomy soundtrack & hook it to my veins! The slightly overlooked heartfelt exchange Otto & Alicent had at the beginning was the most significant moment of the episode imo. Otto’s not wrong. You either hope for Rhaenyra’s mercy in the future or you act now. It's the Tywin Jaime "we can establish a dynasty that last a thousand years" moment for the show. The events at the wedding sets up the first chess pieces for Dance of Dragons. This is the episode where the Greens come into their own. *Rhaenyra and Laenor were exchanging wedding vows, but it was Alicent and Criston who were getting “married”*
Probably one of my favorite HotD reaction channels, Madison and Cristian are incredibly knowledgeable about what's going and the intricacies at play. Keep up the keen observations!
I don't know why Alicent was surprised or hurt by Rhaenyra's lie. After all, she didn't bother to warn Rhaenyra, her "best friend", that she had been ordered to befriend or seduce the king for six months. I suspect that after that, Rhaenyra didn't trust her. And I suspect Alicent's reaction was nothing more than an overreaction to cover her own guilt. I can say the same about Criston Cole. Rhaenyra never forced him to have sex with her. And he did break his Kingsguard oath on his own volition. I think his marriage proposal was a way to erase his own guilt.
I’ve been waiting for y’alls reaction! I’m still ride or die Daemon. He’s playing the game and I want to see what he does next. Poor Laenor outed himself when he freaked out over Joffrey’s body. I may be wrong but I think that’s why they moved up the wedding. To save face, as it were.
I think you are partly right as to why the wedding was moved up so abruptly. But I also think that the appearance of Daemon and Viserys seeing him and Rhaenyra together prompted the King to have a quick "shotgun" wedding, just in case.
I also don't think Daemon really intended to kill Rhea. Remember, he has had so many oppotunities to kill her if he really wanted too. Also, if you look closely, when the horse got spooked, he tried to grab the saddle meaning he tried to stop the horse from panicking, but it fell on top of Rhea, breaking her neck and most probably her spine as well. Now, this is when the opportunity came for Daemon to finally get rid of his wife and be free, at the same time become Lord of Runestone. In short, he did not came to the Vale with plans to kill his wife, but because the situation presented itself, knowing Daemon, he grabed the opportunity, plus we really don't know if he really smashed her skull, he might did or the injury came from the incident with the horse as well.
19:24 the Lannister guy is absolutely right, I worked for 5 years in the reception of a small hotel and I have dealt with many people who stayed only for one or two days because they came to a wedding or some kind of party. On the day of the event, the transport usually came to pick them up at 6 or 7 pm, the women began to prepare 4 or even 5 hours before, stylists came to do their hair or dress them, while this happened the boys usually walked in the lobby in shorts fooling around (smoking, talking about cars, football etc) but with half an hour to go they went up stairs and be ready just in time while not infrequently they had to wait for the women who had been preparing for hours, really crazy
Green is the color of house hightower, so it's normal for alicent's relatives to use that. It isn't for her though, if you notice, on the previous episode alicent is using a red and black dress, the colors of house targaryen. So when she comes in on the weddering wearing green she's not just stating war, but also saying "i'm not a targaryen, i'm a hightower, fuck you all".
17:18 this was the time when honor was bigger than anything, I love the writing here a knight like ser Criston at the time would be this honest and crushed for breaking his oath. Remember he is not from a Noble family or a family with a lot of political ties he was raised in a common household where virtues like honesty are held in highest regard and royals were like gods and not to mention he genuinely had feelings for Rhaeneyra he does not have much comprehension for one night stands plus when he realized he would just be a common wh*re in her harem it broke him even further. Moreover, Its not just like he broke an oath its like decieving his gods and bringing shame to his family it was the guilt that made him this honest, he practically sentenced himself to death. great writing.
I've watched at least 12 Reactions and yours is by far the best and most of your predictions and your attention to the subtle nuances are spot on. Keep it up.
Heirs giving up their throne for love is a thing in real life, so I don't think Criston was crazy to believe that Rhaenyra would want to follow him after what she did
Great reaction btw. Otto Hightower was overly ambitious and vile to his daughter but fundamentally he's NOT wrong. By making a woman heir Viserys is breaking literally thousands of years of tradition in Westeros. It will bring about war. Also succession is crucial to dividing lands and titles, a King naming a woman heir and skipping over the male line (Daemon and then Aegon) could create a destructive precedent where second sons, daughters and others in other parts of the realm will make claims to their House's seats. Otto assumed that Viserys would name Aegon heir but Viserys is an idealistic fool in some ways. He hasn't done much to communicate to Lords and assert the power and authority of his house in defense of his daughter. He's already perceived as a weak king, what happens when he's dead? Worse, he named his male son after the dude who conquered Westeros, a really silly move. I ultimately blame Viserys for this dilemma and the sexism of the realm, not Otto or Alicent. Alicent is right to be paranoid and seriously worried. Would Rhaenyra really give up her crown to avoid killing her former best friends kids? I mean look at what happened to the Targaryen kids when Robert ascended the throne...smashed by the Mountain because them being alive threatened his crown.
Isn’t Otto the onewho proposed Rhaenyra as heir though ?? He’s so scared to shits of Daemon he’s ready to do anything so that he doesn’t sit on the throne lol
This shit is wild. Intense looks and stares around the room double meanings. Shit is tough. What’s unfair is Laenor loses someone who is very important to him and Rhaenyra does not. Even so she would choose her uncle before she chooses Christian Cole because of status a high house suitor. I really real for Cole he got his broken but buy doing doing this The only person who knows when her secret is Cole Laenor herself and Alicent where as The people who know about Laenors secret are his mother his father Cole Rhaenyra himself and probably soon to be Alicent and we all know if the queen finds out she is definitely going to use it against Rhaenyra in some way..
What I thought about the Christen Cole situation seeing the many angles presented, is that the fact that Joffrey asked to keep their secrets quiet... but sad for Sir Cole, he done already confessed to the Queen which meant that keeping it a secret was out of his hands. That in turn would have dire consequences since he had no control over his part of the "bargain".
I think the fact she is wearing green isnt so much to do with the family wearing green, they would wear it regardless its their house colours. However the fact she is wearing green instead of red, targaryen red, as she is one now, and at a wedding of one is the strange factor. I THINK
Dude you flew so close to the sun on Leanor and didn't even realize it. More so than any other reaction channel I have seen. As a book reader I won't spoil anything. However if you sit back, and think about it, within the context of the world they operate in, what issues this could cause. Speculate, analyze. The show is literally not wasting a single scene. Like so many characters in the original GOT they make their own fates, for better or worse, often by what they didn't consider when compared to the world they live in. When HOTD fans watch re-watch season 1, after knowing how everything plays out, they are going to lose their minds over how much you will reevaluate these characters. Not good or evil, choices and consequences.
I love the fact that despite being in all honesty a horrible person (Mocking the death of his nephew, twice, brutally killing and maiming "criminals", taking police brutality to a whole new level, grooming and manipulating his niece, killing his wife) people still simp for Daemon due to his sigma energy. Mind you, this is far from the worst things that he'll do (blood and cheese)
Out of all the reactors i watch, you 2 seem to catch more subtleties upon first watch moreso than anyone else. And i watch a LOTTTTTTTT of reactors during my work week. lol. Great job. Yall have become amongst my favorites. ....oh yeah - and Daemon is a F-Boy -and yall seem to be the only people that agree with me. He's a terrible human. lol He certainly went there - in a whole Grim Reaper hood as not to be recognized to kill his wife. Spooked the horse with that dragon scent on his hand...
I'm not sure why everyone just assumes that Alicent "figured it out" by him mentioning the tea. She already knew that Viserys knew about the rumors that she slept with Daemon, which means Viserys would also assume that she's possibly pregnant and that it could be Daemon's child. So while Rhaenyra did deny it, simply bringing a tea doesn't mean anything since it's being brought to her based off of a rumor that Viserys had heard from her father. Don't quite get why that would be such a big deal. Why wouldn't she just assume it's being brought to her because of the rumor?
The inside the episode is a double-edged sword in my opinion. On one hand it can explain things that you didn't quite get, but on the other hand it tells you what to think and for me that takes away the fun of coming up with my own ideas from the piece of media itself.
You guys are my all time favorite couple reaction channel!🙏💃🕺♥️ Thank you for making me smile 😊 If you get into movie reactions more could you react to the original 1979 Ridley Scott horror masterpiece movie Alien? Or possibly Alfred Hitchcock's horror masterpiece called Psycho? If not that's ok too. 😊 Love love House of the Dragon. The red dragon you saw flying wasn't Caraxes, that one was Raynees dragon I think she's called Maylees. The Red Queen. 💃😊
Daemon alluded to it, we often only see the effects on the royals, Criston represents the consequences the game has on the ordinary folks who is not used to this.
The whole death of Rhae Royce makes absolutely no sense in the show. First of all because they completely went along with what the book describe except where daemon was. Daemon was holding the steps stones when Rhae Royce dies. She felt of her horse and died and daemon was lucky that he was free from the marriage, so he went to the vale to claim his inheritance but he was kicked off ruinstone by Rhae’s cousin, so Daemon went to lady Jeyne Arryn but she denied him and exile him from the vale. After that he heads to Driffmark. In the show they wanted to just make daemon darker than he is. He didn’t like his wife and is very stupid that they continue to be married. First-why were they still married if the marriage hasn’t been consummated. That means daemon would have been able to asked the septon to automatically set the marriage aside since consummation was not made and also both didn’t want to do it. They made it look like rhae couldn’t stand daemon. So why didn’t she requested the annulled? Daemon spoke awful of her? What about her? She was very rude to him as well. Also why made daemon even be there if they were going to make the horse be the one to really do the initial damage. When in GOT brienne and the hound fight for arya in the vale the hound wasn’t in good shape when he felt. The vale a very hilly and rocky place. The accident could have been just that an accident. But this show runners really want to taint daemon as this bad phychotic guy who is out of control. He was call the prince of king landing, prince of flee bottom because commoners liked him. Also making Viserys tell him that he could t married Rhaenrya because she is his niece when Aemma Arryn was his first cousin, his parents were sister and brother and his grandparents were sister and brother. Also it was Queen Alicent who set the marriage of Between daemon and rhae royce. Because in the books alicent was 9 years older than Rhaenrya’s and they were never friends. They were step mom and step daughter until everything sour when alicent became pushy of Aegon becoming the heir instead of Rhaenrya. So they are for some reason making the BLack characters horrible and the greens (Cole and alicent) such kick puppies manipulated and used by the bad targaryens. When in the books Criston cole is 15 years older than Rhaenrya was her guard from ages 8-14 and took her v card if the rumours are true and Alicent even wanted Rhaenrya protected from Cole’s advances on young princess and the Alicent we saw in ep 5 she was like that even before marrying the king
I mean, Ser Joffery shouldn'tve stunted on Criston Cole, that was really bad timing, right when that guy was Rejected with a capital R, heartbroken and his vows destroyed. Things seemed to have been building up and boiling inside Criston. He seems pretty young too, and I dont know, maybe has never gone through heartbreak before? That was extreme though, damn. Pretty sure Alicent collected him to use when 'the time is right'
*Toxic* *Fandom* I don't understand needing to pick a "favorite" after 5 episodes, from a still, or minute clip? Why not just enjoy the entire cast? I treat the HOT D cast as ONE entire team. They each have a role to play. I like characters from all sides. If I put one character at my #1, it doesn't mean I have to hate the next 49. This isn't like when we were kids watching cartoons and usually rooting for the good guys to win and they usually did win. I can like Otto just as much as Laenor because I like the performance. *My* *50* *Favorite* *GOT/HOT* *D* *Characters* 1-10 Daemon Targaryen Jaime Lannister Bronn Tormund Giantsbane Tyrion Lannister Davos Seaworth Oberyn Martell Euron Greyjoy Khal Drogo Corlys Velaryon 11-20 Viserys I Targaryen Rhaenyra Targaryen Jorah Mormont Olenna Tyrell Walder Frey Stannis Baratheon Barristan Selmy Varys Cersei Lannister Tywin Lannister 21-30 Rhaenys Targaryen Laena Velaryon Daenerys Targaryen Alicent Hightower Otto Hightower Petyr Baelish Sansa Stark Eddard (Ned) Stark Robert Baratheon Sandor Clegane 31-40 Wun Weg Wun Dar Wun Lyanna Mormont Ygritte Jon Snow (heroic character but so boring) Hot Pie Samwell Tarly Night King Criston Cole (I kept him where he is but SMH) Melisandre Benjen Stark 41-50 Robb Stark Catelyn Stark Ayra Stark (was a top 3 fav of mine in S1) Tommen Baratheon Margaery Tyrell Renly Baratheon Podrick Payne Laenor Velaryon Lyonel Strong Harwin Strong (top 10 potential) A few drastic changes for me while rewatching the entire Game of Thrones. I'm starting to like Catelyn Stark. I think she's charming. I'll never forget Michelle Fairley's funny audio commentary in S3 with Nikolaj. I think I misunderstood Cat. She was only salty to Jon from a lie. Had she known the truth, she would've been kind to Jon. But Ned had to protect Jon with a lie. Daenerys Targaryen is also growing on me. I liked her earlier seasons when she was still innocent and freed slaves. It's by S4 and S5 that I felt the writing on her declined like it did for Tyrion. I love Emilia. She's a fun girl. I think Dany is more beautiful than Rhaenyra. I understand she had aneurysms. But I don't find her to be a great actress. Not even on Lena or Peter's levels. Moved Ser Friendzone up because Jorah was a good dude. He died nobly. I took out Arthur Dayne because we only saw him for like 3 minutes in a flashback. I took out Brienne, Grey Worm, and Missandei. I moved Drogo and Oberyn in my top 10 because they were BAMFs. Oberyn is a lot like Daemon. Very hotheaded and charismatic. I took all out the numbers next to each name so it will be easier for me to move names in sets of 10. So far, I like my new updated list. Most of my top 10 are BAMFs except Tyrion and Davos. Once we get Aemond Targaryen, he can rank in my top 3. He's going against his uncle and Aemond can rank high because he looks like a BAMF. Do you really think I want merch of Alicent or Viserys? Lame! Gee, let me hang this Otto poster on my wall. 🤣 Yo, I want Daemon and Aemond. It's like Vader and Kylo. Or the better comparison for Daemon is *Darth* *Revan.* *Daemon* *vs.* *Aemond* ua-cam.com/users/shortsNvfuAnZuWJw?feature=share I know who's marketable and Daemon and Aemond are marketable bad*sses like Homelander and Soldier Boy. Give me the killers. You can have the wimps. We got a tool like Jody's Corner saying Daemon is a trash character. 🤣 Was he so emotionally invested with Rhea Royce that he's willing to trash Daemon for a Bronze B-tch we only saw for 3 minutes? Ok, simp. I guess Vader and Thanos are trash since they've done much worse. I love Stannis but he let his own daughter die in flames. Jaime Lannister won this multi-round elimination poll over Jon Snow. Gee, why am I not surprised? He's the best character in Game of Thrones. Jaime wins 👑 rcv-app.firebaseapp.com/poll/-LDwyvxC4wvCpqZ7iIM3/results Jaime wasn't the most heroic or most virtuous but he was the most complex and complete character. We hated him in the beginning and we ended up loving him. I moved him up from 4th to 2nd for being so great in S3. Too bad his final ending next to Cersei was a joke. He supposedly never changed. He was always a bad person as he told Brienne. What lazy, awful writing. Then what was the point keeping Jaime around after S3 with one hand? 🤦🏻 He wore plot armor until the 2nd to the last episode. Daemon will not have a joke ending like Jaime's. It will be epic and heroic like Iron Man in Endgame. If I was a BAMF like Daemon, that's how I would want to die. No other way. In the most epic dragon fight ever. In an IGN poll that happened this year before HOT D aired, Tyrion won the poll over Jon who always seems to be the bridesmaid but never the bride. Fans keeps hating on the Lannisters but they're winning polls thanks to Jaime and Tyrion. Lannisters, as hated as they are, made GOT interesting. Even Cersei and Tywin were great. Tyrion wins 👑 www.ign.com/faceoffs/game-of-thrones-face-off-who-is-the-best-character-in-westeros Once HOT D is over, I guarantee you that Daemon will be the most popular character. It used to be Rhaenyra among book fans but I believe TV fans will pick Daemon over her in a HOT D poll. It seems male characters will always end up at the top and I notice a lot of female fans love male characters like Daemon and Jaime. Females can sense their charisma and courage. We can pit Daemon, Jaime, Tyrion, Jon, and Dany together in a poll and Daemon would still win. He would win polls against them and imaginary fights. All these folks like Akasan and Jody's Corner don't know jack squat about Daemon and you know what? It's cool. Don't spoil it for them. They're still in the dark. Let them figure it out and maybe they'll realize they're wrong just like how we felt about Jaime by S3E3. Go back to Jaime's history and it's not perfect either. His incest with his twin sister led to Jon Arryn being poisoned because he found out about their incest. Jaime pushed a 10-year-old off a window only to cripple him which only got the War of the Five Kings' ball rolling. Always acted like a prick towards Ned. Killed his own own cousin to try to escape. Jaime had committed enough sins himself. And he still went back to Cersei after we all thought he changed. There will be people who will never like Daemon and that's fine. Not everyone likes Iron Man or Batman. Not everyone believes in God. We don't need to be toxic towards them. We don't need to get insecure or angry arguing for fictional people. Let them buy their Jon Snow merch or whoever. It's just a TV show. Doesn't need to get political or personal. Daemon has enough fans anyway. He's a great fighter and has a bad*ss dragon. Comes from the most interesting family known as House TARGARYEN. Many fans will be drawn to him. Daemon is like the best and worst character in HOT D like Vader is in Star Wars. Remains the most popular while still being "a bad guy." You know he's a killer but you're still drawn to him. He has this charisma and presence that you're drawn to. You don't always have to like what he does but you know he is still entertaining and he makes the show better. Put him there for only 10 minutes and he can steal the entire episode. Just enjoy them all and stop picking sides. It's only entertainment. You got Rhaenyra fans calling folks Alic-nt fans. The girls get nasty on social media between Rhaenyra vs. Alicent when both characters can be c-nts. Daemon can be a c-nt. There's people who don't even like this show. You can't please everyone. Haters everywhere and for everyone and everything. *Stannis:* “If you had to choose between Rhaenyra and Aegon, who would you have chosen?” *Shireen:* "I wouldn’t have chosen either. It’s all the choosing sides that made things so horrible.”
Cole out here catching feelings... city boys we took a L on this one Daemon said it’s chess not checkers!!! Laenors boyfriend and daemons wife paid the same price should have kept their mouths shut. Dude was trying to pull a string that he shouldn’t have. He didn’t know Cole from a can of paint. And Why ser Cole got the lil mermaid boyfriend’s fit on?
Ser Criston screwed up, The Queen was not referring to him in her questioning, she was fishing for information concerning Rhaenyra and Daemon. Criston misunderstood and thought word had gotten out about him and Rhaenyra. He screwed up royally... so to speak...
Laenors boyfriend and daemons wife paid the same price should have kept their mouths shut. Dude was trying to pull a string that he shouldn’t have. He didn’t know Cole from a can of paint. And Why ser Cole got the lil mermaid boyfriend’s fit on?
Remembering that the book fire and blood is narrated by dubious narrators The book is told by rumors and gossip so it is not reliable, in the book it says that Daemon never likes his wife he hates her the daemon was forced to marry his wife she it is not important in the story In the book there is nothing about her just that she is married to Daemon and that after a while the news comes from her that she died and that she died falling from the horse that is all that is said about the daemon's wife in the Book As I said,Daemon's wife is not important in the story,no one cares about her and the only thing to watch in the scenes when she talks about Daemon's wife is when Rhaenys says that Daemon's wife died,no one paid attention to the news she said That's because she's not important, in the books we don't know if it was the daemon who killed his wife because when she dies the daemon is in a war so we don't know if it was him, in the series they said it was the Daemon who killed his wife the daemon is not killing his wife because she had already lost the movement of her body So much so that he was leaving but the girl was very stupid she opened her mouth so he killed her, the scriptwriters are Ryan they said they said that Daemon is not the kill his wife if she didn't open her mouth, more like She opened her mouth so he'll kill her Being a Christian, if you soiled your white command, it was because you wanted to, because Rhaenyra didn't stick a knife in your neck and force you to do what you did, do you really think that, Rhaenyra? And give up everything just to be with him, my God, this girl is a princess she is heir to the throne she has her customs she is not one to give up everything to have a simple life, Rhaenyra is not in love with Christian she just wants to have fun she just wants sex that's all Christian you are very emotional you are very deluded you and stupid rhaenyra would never give up everything for you Christian you and only a knight have nothing to offer her
In my opinion, that whole lady Rhea scene could’ve been left out and just had Rhaenes tell us and it would’ve been better. I hated that scene. It was just cheesy and completely random. Why is he just sitting out there alone hooded? Howd he know she’d be out there? Then her horse randomly jumps and crushes her and when he’s walking away she encourages him to torture her and crush her head??? Makes no sense. She should’ve just been knocked out at the least and had him put her out the rest of the way with the rock. Or just not done the scene. Love your guys reactions so much! Keep um coming. Can’t wait for episode 7
Ser Cristinen cole sees it as if rheynera spoke of of what they did. Like who is this Joffrey guy telling me this…. Such a great episode. Have a great one guys.
There is nothing saying that if Alicent took the knee in for an a Rhaenyra and a serious that Rhaenyra would put her kids to the sword, there is not a damn thing, saying that what happened I have more faith in Rhaenyra than that
And Daemon wasn't there for the accident and didn't go back to her until she was dead. They truly did not get along at all. The book implies that she was a lesbian as well.
"Why did he blow up on him like that?" The guy was being an a hole to Criston, making a veiled threat to expose the affair between Criston and Rhaenyra under the guise of helping each other. Admittedly, Criston overreacted a bit.
Great reactions guys 🙂 the thing is with Criston he loves her and she told him many times she didnt want to be Queen. Also Joffrey couldnt wait to tell Criston he knew their secret. Joffrey was the one who was full of himself, way to confident in his relationship with soon to be Queens consort and Criston lost it.
Thanks for all the support guys!

Thank you for your service, and gor being you! Hug!!
Thank you for your Service!
Thank you for your service
Thank you for your long and loyal service to your flag, your country and its people ❤
You are still young Baby Boomer
Remember you are not the greatest generation. Those were your big brothers and sisters when you were a baby😊. You are the " Up Yours" first Entitled. Sometimes it skips Generations.
You two were more in love with Criston than Rhaenyra ever was lol.
I was thinking how the hell they mount a dragon from a boat, because I thought rhaenyra was flying with laenor
Madison saying "of course you're gonna spread the tea" while Larys is telling Alicent about Rhaenyra being brought moontea 🤣
Or when she's like yea criston cole as he gets rejected.
Some people interpreted it as Joffrey subtly threatening Cole (and maybe in Criston's head he interpreted it as such) but Joffrey really just said "Let's keep the bride and groom and their secrets safe"
About Viserys rushing the wedding, I think it is in part because he's impatient and stressed at that point, but we also saw him watching Daemon and Rhaenyra dangerously close. And as far as the king knows, his brother could try and seduce the princess during the celebrations, so he makes sure that Laenor and her are married as soon as possible, wether they like it or not
The Queen was looking for dirt on Daemon and the princess. Cole confessing was a revelation.
There's a dialogue between Sam's sister and Gilly that she says:
You are from the north, what is your color? gray? referring to the dress.
They don't have TV, all they have is Gossip. Great line 😆 🤣
i think that Cole realized Rhaenyra doesn't really care for him besides using him for her pleasure. like the conversation with Alicent shows his broken oath practically means a death sentence. the smug way Laenor's lover approached him, made him snap. The Dornish aren't especially known for their emotional restraint
What would you propose, that Daemon slit her throat? It was an accident, the horse smelled dragon on him and got spooked. He chose to maintain the illusion of an accident and to not let her suffer.
Fun fact: Damon didn’t actually mean for that to happen
Horse got spooked by the fact he smelled like dragon (their main predator) and his rider panicking
It was a convenient accident for Damon
HONOR is a Standard that you hold YOURSELF to.
The Queen can bestow An Honor; but NOT Self/to the Bone Marrow HONOR.
"You bout to inherit this ass-whooping" 😂😂😂
For now on any wedding in a game of thrones related show I’m gonna be thinking “wait for it…..”
Never a dull wedding 😂
"People have no TV" 🤣🤣🤣👍
Awesome has always guys
🤘😝🤘
Most ppl mentioned grayscale at this point. But remember grayscale is contagious by touch. The whole castle would have it…
One of the few reaction have seen with people understanding the meaning of the green dress ! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber 👍🏿
Always love your guys' reaction.
@17:18 he's being crazy honest. Remember what John Snow said:
"When enough people make false promises, words stop meaning anything. Then there are no more answers, only better and better lies." Well Ser Criston is the antithesis of that. He's no liar, he's been used by Rhaenyra, lost his honor, lost everything. So at least he's gonna tell the truth and be honest one last time before he dies. But...he won't die ;)
@18:47 Seasmoke and Meleys aka The red queen...beautiful, Rhaenys female dragon ;)
Mine too
Every time you say scandalous I think of the cartoon Recess. Lol love it.
Alicent "congratulations step daughter "
her inner thoughts, "Your white dress is a lie...."
It's leprosy not grayscale. And apparently he accepted it as punishment for what he did to his wife.
I'm sure also that Viserys was on edge after watching Rhaenyra and Daemon interact, was probably scared they'd do something stupid.
Yes. They probably didn't want to put it off and risk more shit going wrong
The honor compelled him to admit himself
I also don't think Daemon really intended to kill Rhea. Remember, he has had so many oppotunities to kill her if he really wanted too. Also, if you look closely, when the horse got spooked, he tried to grab the saddle meaning he tried to stop the horse from panicking, but it fell on top of Rhea, breaking her neck and most probably her spine as well. Now, this is when the opportunity came for Daemon to finally get rid of his wife and be free, at the same time become Lord of Runestone. In short, he did not came to the Vale with plans to kill his wife, but because the situation presented itself, knowing Daemon, he grabed the opportunity, plus we really don't know if he really smashed her skull, he might did or the injury came from the incident with the horse as well.
the second dragon was rheanys's leanor's mom with her awesome looking dragon Meleys cant wait to get a better look because thats one cool dragon
Criston Cole makes Jon Snow look like Littlefinger he's so unbearably naive. LOL
Exactly so. It's her "This is me moment" and the reason she is intentionally late. Larys Strong spreading his little seeds with the war reference.
Keep it up.
Alicent might be my favorite character now.
Heirs giving up their throne for love is a thing in real life, so I don't think Criston was crazy to believe that Rhaenyra would want to follow him after what she did
According to the actor who plays Visrys, he has a form of leprosy. Grey Scale acts a lot faster.
Green is their family color
At the end of the feast...I think pretty much everyone knew his secret and hence the reason for the speedy wedding.
I THINK
If she ran away with Criston she gives up her DRAGON 🐉 too...... no way dude lol
"Theyre doing this right in front of everyone"
Exactly! That's pure Targaryen blood for ya
And now the green wedding in GOT is here.
Funny and insightful reactions as always I appreciate the quality of the channel
35:36 I don't think Rhaenyra would've EVER threatened Alicent's children. She'd just want them to swear allegiance to her. Not really THAT BIG a deal.
The King is suffering from Leprosy.
Guys the King has leprosy
I'm not sure why everyone just assumes that Alicent "figured it out" by him mentioning the tea. She already knew that Viserys knew about the rumors that she slept with Daemon, which means Viserys would also assume that she's possibly pregnant and that it could be Daemon's child. So while Rhaenyra did deny it, simply bringing a tea doesn't mean anything since it's being brought to her based off of a rumor that Viserys had heard from her father. Don't quite get why that would be such a big deal. Why wouldn't she just assume it's being brought to her because of the rumor?
Rhaenyra did have the free choice to marry any nobleman in the realm until the situation with Daemon occurred.
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
The inside the episode is a double-edged sword in my opinion. On one hand it can explain things that you didn't quite get, but on the other hand it tells you what to think and for me that takes away the fun of coming up with my own ideas from the piece of media itself.
You guys are my all time favorite couple reaction channel!🙏💃🕺♥️
Thank you for making me smile 😊
If you get into movie reactions more could you react to the original 1979 Ridley Scott horror masterpiece movie Alien? Or possibly Alfred Hitchcock's horror masterpiece called Psycho?
If not that's ok too. 😊
Love love House of the Dragon.
House of the Dragon is definitely my favorite non-anime right now.
i would love to see you guys react to the trailer of the next episode too
Yea me too
16:10 nope she dind't but he thought , she is acusing him , Aliscent is not playing with him... she is really asking for Rhaenyra and Daemon matter
Y’all rooting for Criston like he’s Jon Snow 🤣
I mean, Ser Joffery shouldn'tve stunted on Criston Cole, that was really bad timing, right when that guy was Rejected with a capital R, heartbroken and his vows destroyed. Things seemed to have been building up and boiling inside Criston. He seems pretty young too, and I dont know, maybe has never gone through heartbreak before? That was extreme though, damn. Pretty sure Alicent collected him to use when 'the time is right'
Madison with the comment of the night. " There's no way honey.....this is Game of Thrones!". Oh so sorry.
The reason Criston killed Joffrey is because Joffrey revealed that he knew Criston was involved with Rhaenyra. 👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠💓💓
Guys, your reaction it is better than random reaction. Thanks
Great reactions I really enjoy you two I think your great, keep it up
*Toxic* *Fandom*
I don't understand needing to pick a "favorite" after 5 episodes, from a still, or minute clip? Why not just enjoy the entire cast? I treat the HOT D cast as ONE entire team. They each have a role to play. I like characters from all sides.
If I put one character at my #1, it doesn't mean I have to hate the next 49. This isn't like when we were kids watching cartoons and usually rooting for the good guys to win and they usually did win. I can like Otto just as much as Laenor because I like the performance.

A few drastic changes for me while rewatching the entire Game of Thrones.
Or the better comparison for Daemon is *Darth* *Revan.*
*Daemon* *vs.* *Aemond*
ua-cam.com/users/shortsNvfuAnZuWJw?feature=share
I know who's marketable and Daemon and Aemond are marketable bad*sses like Homelander and Soldier Boy.
Jaime wins 👑
rcv-app.firebaseapp.com/poll/-LDwyvxC4wvCpqZ7iIM3/results
Jaime wasn't the most heroic or most virtuous but he was the most complex and complete character.
Tyrion wins 👑
www.ign.com/faceoffs/game-of-thrones-face-off-who-is-the-best-character-in-westeros
Once HOT D is over, I guarantee you that Daemon will be the most popular character.
*Stannis:* “If you had to choose between Rhaenyra and Aegon, who would you have chosen?”
*Shireen:* "I wouldn’t have chosen either. It’s all the choosing sides that made things so horrible.”
Cole out here catching feelings... city boys we took a L on this one
Daemon said it’s chess not checkers!!!
Laenors boyfriend and daemons wife paid the same price should have kept their mouths shut. Dude was trying to pull a string that he shouldn’t have. He didn’t know Cole from a can of paint.
And Why ser Cole got the lil mermaid boyfriend’s fit on?
Daemon is my favourite character
"This is a terrible wedding."
Yeah, Game of Thrones 3 for 3 awful weddings.
Ser Criston screwed up, The Queen was not referring to him in her questioning, she was fishing for information concerning Rhaenyra and Daemon. Criston misunderstood and thought word had gotten out about him and Rhaenyra. He screwed up royally... so to speak...

I think alicent will really start playing the game now starting with Cole.
Littlefoot creating chaos.
Remembering that the book fire and blood is narrated by dubious narrators The book is told by rumors and gossip so it is not reliable, in the book it says that Daemon never likes his wife he hates her the daemon was forced to marry his wife she it is not important in the story In the book there is nothing about her just that she is married to Daemon and that after a while the news comes from her that she died and that she died falling from the horse that is all that is said about the daemon's wife in the Book
As I said,Daemon's wife is not important in the story,no one cares about her and the only thing to watch in the scenes when she talks about Daemon's wife is when Rhaenys says that Daemon's wife died,no one paid attention to the news she said That's because she's not important, in the books we don't know if it was the daemon who killed his wife because when she dies the daemon is in a war so we don't know if it was him, in the series they said it was the Daemon who killed his wife the daemon is not killing his wife because she had already lost the movement of her body So much so that he was leaving but the girl was very stupid she opened her mouth so he killed her, the scriptwriters are Ryan they said they said that Daemon is not the kill his wife if she didn't open her mouth, more like She opened her mouth so he'll kill her
Being a Christian, if you soiled your white command, it was because you wanted to, because Rhaenyra didn't stick a knife in your neck and force you to do what you did, do you really think that, Rhaenyra? And give up everything just to be with him, my God, this girl is a princess she is heir to the throne she has her customs she is not one to give up everything to have a simple life, Rhaenyra is not in love with Christian she just wants to have fun she just wants sex that's all Christian you are very emotional you are very deluded you and stupid rhaenyra would never give up everything for you Christian you and only a knight have nothing to offer her
You both are such lovely people. I hope i get a relationship like yours:)
26:48 restless and chaotic
Most people don't realize Visarys giving the throne to Rhaneayre to be the first woman on the throne everybody trying to get close after her
The red dragon with sea smoke was meleys it’s Rhaenys dragon I think cause Syrax is a different color.
No more pillow-biting for that one.
27:15 27:17 27:42 27:52 27:56 28:00 28:03
There is nothing saying that if Alicent took the knee in for an a Rhaenyra and a serious that Rhaenyra would put her kids to the sword, there is not a damn thing, saying that what happened I have more faith in Rhaenyra than that
In the book Rhea Royce died 9 days later
And Daemon wasn't there for the accident and didn't go back to her until she was dead. They truly did not get along at all. The book implies that she was a lesbian as well.
Time to pick a team. The Greens or The Blacks.
"Why did he blow up on him like that?"
The guy was being an a hole to Criston, making a veiled threat to expose the affair between Criston and Rhaenyra under the guise of helping each other. Admittedly, Criston overreacted a bit.
Tre red dragon was not Rhaenry, it was Rhaeny dragon name Melyes
green is there house colour ofcourse they wear it Allicent wearing green was a statement not the rest of her house
25:40 Yes... That is what we commonly know by "flirting". Very perceptive of you two lmao.
Daemon was not exiled
Only person Rhaenyra love is Rhaenyra xD
Great reactions guys 🙂 the thing is with Criston he loves her and she told him many times she didnt want to be Queen. Also Joffrey couldnt wait to tell Criston he knew their secret. Joffrey was the one who was full of himself, way to confident in his relationship with soon to be Queens consort and Criston lost it.
