I really hate it when armchair detectives spread rumors and accuse innocent people. I cannot imagine the psychological toll that would put on you after loosing someone close to you, or being assaulted. The media, both commercial and social, are awful.
I had that happen with a baby cousin the kids dad was cleared but people people still were like omg it’s obviously their dad because he tried to idk UA-cam guide lines so I’m just going to say self delete like he didn’t do that because he lost his child and his partner turned out to be the monster that did it so poor dude had no one and lost everything due to the rumour even tho his wife literally got proven to have done it but arm chair detectives are still like he only tried self delete to get away with it and that “woman couldn’t have done it man bad” completely ignoring the kid the actual story is about people are the worst
A lot of them did this with the Boston Marathon Bombing. Their amateur “investigation” led to the accusation of an innocent person, which not only hampered efforts to find the actual culprits, but led to the falsely-accused taking their own life. Easily one of the biggest instances of internet injustice in history.
I got accused of being a drug addict who was shooting up into my knuckles because my knuckles were red during an interview that I had with Chris Hansen one time (some said Xanax, some said heroin). 80% of the comments were just about that. They mostly didn't even pay attention to what I said. I have eczema. My knuckles are always red. Even after I told them that, some of them still kept going. It got so bad that he ended up just deleting the interview altogether. A lot of people on UA-cam think that they're extremely intelligent sleuths. 🤔 There's one girl who accused the narcissistic UA-camr Onision of r*ping her, and they started digging up old Twitter posts from 2014 to try to discredit her.
@@Hollyucinogen was it even relevant to the interview also why your knuckles isn’t there a lot more better injection sights I know someone who got accused of doing meth because the physical side effects of their ed matched some of the physical ones of a meth user however the people accusing them refused a drug test as proof because it ruined their theory also meth user or not it wasn’t even relevant for the thing they were talking about people are wild
@@emoedsherran5469 It's a crazy idea to think that I should have to put makeup on my knuckles just to get people to shut up and focus on my actual words. There was another girl who spoke out against him who got accused of threatening to burn his house down because she posted a 😂 emoji on Twitter to the thought of a pedos' house burning down (some people said that she actually did burn his house down). Also, one of the girls who spoke out against Dahvie Vanity, her Mom got accused of being involved in drug trafficking(???). It's f*cking WILD what lengths people on UA-cam will go to in order to discredit people - as long as the person that they're speaking out against is famous, then most Americans on UA-cam will automatically defend them. The people who actually think for themselves are uncommon - people will usually just go with the flow and automatically support whoever is more famous, wealthy, and powerful.
My mother was murdered in 1976, my father was shot twice, he survived. At my mother's funeral, with my father in a hospital bed attended by nurses and doctors, a reporter tried to get pictures of my dad, one of our neighbors stepped up an not only knocked the camera out of their hands, he also knocked the report out. That same reporter showed up at our house the day my father was released from the hospital, I was 15 at the time and turned into a Tasmanian Devil and attacked that reporter, let's just say he lost another camera and might have been bleeding heavily from a head wound.
Reporters unfortunately often do't know any boundraries past what story is going to get them paid… I hope they let you and your family in peace after losing two cameras to you/your neighbour.
There was a mother who killed herself 85 days after a hospital Kidnapped her child from her. The media had harassed this poor woman and had her believing this was all her fault. The family sued and got millions but said they will never get past the loss of their mother because the hospital Kidnapped a child with cancer. While all that mother was doing was trying to get doctors to help her daughter's pain. The hospital claimed she wanted the drugs for herself, even though they would have had to give it to the child by IV. There was no way the mother could have used the drugs.
I know all about the kid run over by the diplomat's wife story in the UK. The culprit's name is Anne Sacoolas - she does not deserve anonymity, the coward.
Adding my voice - Many of us in the US know about this tragedy and the cowardness of the US government and would support the Sacoolases being returned to face the courts for Harry's vehicular manslaughter. It's Britain, not Italy after all.
from what I remember it was settled in the states in 2021 when the parents of the victim Harry Dunn filed a civil suit in the US. She was a coward to run away from it.
what a disgusting person, diplomatic immunity in this case is a joke, it should be use when you need to do something illegal in country's interest, not to run over children, she's vile
As an American I remember this and was outraged that the US government helped hide her when she fled after killing that young man. And then she only got eight months. Needless to say I am still outraged and I extend my condolences to any friends and family of Harry Dunn, for justice was denied him.
My town had a murder of a little girl. It was big news locally but I’m not sure how large it was outside of my state, since I was fairly little when it happened. She went missing walking to school, and a highschooler murdered her. It was sad seeing how many posters were of her, while she was still considered missing. Today she has a park dedicated to her and her mother hosts a cheerleading camp every summer in honor of her.
I’m no Christian, so I’ll say this in line with my beliefs: I hope La Pachamama(Mother Earth in Quechua) welcomed the little girl with open arms into Hanan Pacha(celestial sky realm in Quechua)
I will die on this hill: we live in a bored society. People cant even grieve or recover in peace without the media over exaggerating or victim blaming. The media exploitation for views is just sickening. Its even worse when people buy into it and accuse the victim of lying. Smh
Fr. People say it’s apathy but I think it’s just pure hatred. They hate victims for some reason. And I can’t understand, I hate people (only bad people) a lot and I could never say the things they say to innocent people.
I'll keep this one vague for privacy reasons. So, a friend of mine is murdered Police chase the wrong guy on minimal evidence (the suspected vehicle was abandoned after the murder about a quarter mile from this other guy's house, and that was all they had to go on). Media reports on how he's a horrible sociopathic murderer. Guy gets cleared of charges, there's no evidence against him and tons of evidence against the actual murderer. Media doesn't want to run any retractions about many false allegations they made against him and continues to dig through his past, looking for something to justify the narrative that he was a scumbag anyway. He was a recovering drug addict, had been clean for a couple years and was getting his life back together. I knew him too, not a close friend, just an acquaintance, but he was a good guy. Media forgets all about the murder. It's relegated to a paragraph on page 23 of the local paper when the actual murderer is caught. Old news by that point. They continue running stories on what a bad guy the falsely accused man was, such that everyone in town was ready to form a lynch mob, despite knowing he was innocent. Guy relapses and ODs. He's dead, the media carries on like nothing happened. But hey, he sacrificed his life so some crotchety old church-ladies had something to gossip about during Sunday Brunch... and it kept them engaged with the paper long enough to view $12 worth of ad impressions, so I guess it all worked out in the end. /s
While this story isn't as vile as the ones in the video, it does show how dumb the media can be. A friend of my son took his gf to a public park. This park has a large gazebo for concerts and whatnot. The friend and his gf hugged and kissed on the gazebo. A few minutes later, a bunch of cops showed up and arrested them for having intimacy in a public place. They took statements from all the potential witnesses, but no one saw anything. It must have been a slow day for the media because a Charlotte, NC TV station jumped on the story. Their truck showed up shortly after the police left. They broadcast live from the gazebo. They interviewed a kid that was at the park. Then they started knocking on doors and interviewing people that lived across the street, hoping to find somebody that saw the act. Nobody did, but everybody had an opinion. A few days later, the couple went to court. The sole witness who had first called the police did not show up. With no witnesses or evidence, the judge threw it out. The defendants' lawyer said that happens a lot at that park. There was a woman across the street who was always calling the cops, but never went to court about anything. The reporter who did the news story had shown up and was greatly disappointed that nothing came of the arrest. Rather than do another live broadcast, one of news anchors quietly read a brief statement saying the case had been thrown out of court. 😂
That ladys a karen but she knows she'll get on the news if she shows up then she cant snoop and randomly call the cops XD THATS SOO MESSED UP SHE HAS NO LIFE!
You know, the woman who’s always calling, but never showing up for court, really, really should get her own personal police escort to the courthouse next time. You know, just to make sure she shows up on time for her testimony./JK/sarcasm.
I'll say this as many times as I need to, until you stop being UnderRated at least. One of the only reddit channels that use an actual voice instead of an AI generated voice, you guys also come up with great story ideas. It's also nice that the narrator gives their take on things. The cherry on top are the subtitles so we don't have to rewind in case we can't hear something clearly(all be it most reddit channels have this)
Dude yes and it's not repetitive unlike some other reddit channels! I also really like Rufus read it (I don't remember if it's read it, reddit, or smth else) but he's pretty great.
"with these crimes how do you get out." In my country, Belgium, a guy just got 1 year probation (meaning if he commits another crime 1 year of prison is guaranteed) for raping a 13 year old and a 15 year old. Shits fucked.
@@GiordanDiodato true, but it typically keeps people safer longer by keeping that person outside of society. that, and some people might assume the inmates teach the criminal lessons (in the case of (grape)ists, for example). at least, that's what i think is the psychology behind it.
Cancer has its dangers and you can treat it, but more often than not you can't fully get rid of it. I think more of syphilis, literally rots holes in your brain, destroying parts that control critical thinking and inhibitions. If you're familiar with the Outlast games, the cults are started by people whose brains are basically Swiss cheese from syphilis. But, a single shot of penicillin clears it right up. I guess a tumor in the right spot can cause the same thing, but every day you go without that shot, the more and more beyond saving you become. You can catch cancer at stage 1 and kill it all, but it can still come back later down the line as stage III or IV and much more aggressive. Leukemia and Bone cancer are notorious for it spreading to other parts of the body before it can be caught. My great grandmother had 3 different kinds of cancer, 2 of them attacked her reproductive organs with the first (liver cancer) weakening her immune system. Granted this was during the 60s-80s when we didn't have the cancer treatments we do today, she beat all three but ended up dying of multiple organ failure at 88 years old. She was 32 years old when she got liver cancer. Beat cervical cancer when she was 60 something. Had time for 5 kids too cuz her husband accidentally ODd on heart medication when their youngest kid was 5 years old.
as a victim of public false accusations myself, I thank every god, goddess, and lucky star in existence that the people in my home town were not so easily fooled by my aunt's crocodile tears. She kept claiming that I (a 4' 11 asexual female who just likes good books and videogames) intimidated her (6' 4-ish youtube poop enthusiast) son, meanwhile this was the only time in the last 17 years that she gave him any sort of emotional attention, *especially* in public. Why she did it? She started an off and on family feud with my (now deceased) grandmother because of something petty (I don't remember the details and I can no longer ask), but I was adamant about staying a neutral party, so she decided that if I wasn't with her then I was against her. When it got to the point where she was told by police to not waste their time with such an obvious lie, she fled the state
@@Rogue_Centurion If she wasn't so headstrong about winning every argument, she would have known that it was logically impossible for me to have done any of the shit she claimed I did...
I'm just glad my own family member's murder was very small town, so it never breached into the "true crime" world. I just don't know how I'd feel seeing his picture up on youtube and hearing his story from a third party pov. I think it would feel too weird and sad.
I'm sorry for your loss, I hope that you have been able to greave and move forward with your life. I know that would be near impossible for me. (I'm just a big softy when it comes down to it.) I've never experienced loss like that, so I can't even imagine how much that must hurt.
My hometown has a problem with "unsolved" child murders. With the exception of ONE case, every child murder has been perpetrated by a parent, but none have been arrested. This includes the mayor's trophy wife who adopted a South American baby and beat it to death. She's got billboards advertising her real estate business. The most recent incident was a teen parent who smothered their kid about 5 years ago. They admitted it and got no jail time or arrest because they just made a mistake. Another teenage boy was driving drunk and ran over two little girls, killing one and severely injuring the other girl and the girls parents were charged with parental neglect and lost custody of their other children for allowing the girls to play outside where they would get hurt. Because you're supposed to expect dying in your fenced-in front yard. The boy who did this is now a teacher at the school. A relative through marriage, who was a cop there, told me that they're told to pursue criminal activity based on the socioeconomic status of the perp; if they come from a "good" family, just ignore it, but if they're poor or of color, throw the book at them, even if they're the victim. My sister asks me to move back there and I won't even consider it. The place reminds me of Derry from "It." Kids die or go missing and the adults don't even react to it.
Story Five reminds me of a question that's stuck with me regarding assault by artists, musicans, actors, and sports celebrities: "How good do I have to be at something to get away with SA and/or pedophilia?" and subsequently asking why there's such a threshhold to begin with
The reason celebrities are able to get away with stuff is for two very simple reasons. 1) They have lots of money 2) They make other people lots of money.
I grew up in the town next to Natalee Holloway. One of the saddest things I’ve ever seen was while they were still hoping she would be found many in their town put out yellow ribbons on mailboxes etc to show support. Eventually those ribbons started coming down, and I can’t even imagine how hard that must’ve been for her family to see people lost hope.
Story 19 : the same happen in France, a prince of the Saudi Arabia royal family with diplomatic immunity run over a child and his mother in the south of France, in the city, driving at 130 km/h instead of 50km/h (sorry I don’t know the equivalent in miles/h)… He was drunk, run and fly back home using his immunity 😡 He killed both the mom and the child 😢
The one about the town of drug addicts, I live in a town exactly like that, thank God my generation has finally had enough and most of us teens are doing our best to protect and shelter the littuns
I wasn’t sure about it until they mentioned the chained doors part. We should not forget. We should not forget any mass shooting that occurs. To forget them is to accept them.
For the story about the guy who hurt his mother and sister, I agree with you. In February 2024, my boyfriend (at the time) had his brother move in with us after being released from a mental health facility. Which he went into after scaring some fast food workers a few days after being released from prison. This brother is an unmedicated, violent paranoid schizophrenic. He tried to unalive everyone in the house, specifically me, five days after moving in. Logically, I understand that being mentally ill is not the person's fault. I understand that he most likely couldn't help himself. But emotionally, I will cause problems if he's ever within a thousand feet of me. I will defend myself even if he isn't presenting a threat. I can't trust that I'm safe, medications and therapy be darned. I feel bad for him because he didn't ask to be mentally ill and he had a really bad upbringing that most likely aggravated the mental health issues. But I don't feel bad enough to put my life in danger again.
7:39 a family member of mine got 8-10 years for attempted solicitation of a minor. He honestly deserves more but for most of those crimes its only about 10 years here in the US. Really depressing.
I had just discovered UA-cam and there was a title about a murder case happening in town. I heard a couple of names I recognized. I called my daughter who knew these people much better than I did and she called saying my mom heard this weird thing and she thought she heard your names and that's how we found out about this murder. It was a very weird convoluted story about the wife and her boyfriend and what she was doing behind her husbands back. I read every article I could find I knew things the husband didn't know. I had to send stories to verify FBI reports it was totally messed up. He was a professor at the local university and she drove a cab. She had one kid with her former husband one with her current husband and one she said was a surrogate for her sister, but that's not likely since she kept the kid. After the trial they divorced and she moved back east. She came back and stayed with friends a couple of times, but she wasn't terribly welcomed. She wanted people to think she was a victim. Then dateline did a program about it The killing of Anna Repkina. Oh boy that was shocking and filled in all the blanks. Husband moved back east a little after that. I don't know why he didn't fight for custody of their little boy. He has most of it now
When I was 6, my best friend and part of her family died in a horrific traffic accident. The press hounded my friend's mom (now a widow), when I saw her on TV she looked like a shell of who she was. The day of the funeral, some reporter got in my face and asked me if I was sad. Not sure what look I gave him, but he quickly moved on to bother someone else. The press can seriously make a tragic event even worse for friends and family, they were like vultures.
Oooo my blood started boiling learning about this American political woman who didn’t get in trouble! That’s horrible. I live is the US and I am very surprised, yet not at all that I have never heard of this
This reminds me of a specific case, I think it happened in Italy. Basically, a girl from America was accused of killing her roommate because she was 'acting strange' after the girl died (instead of crying and looking upset she was making out with her boyfriend). It was a whole thing, some senator or lawmaker there was using this to get votes and Italian media is brutal (unlike in other countries they can harass and mob because it's not illegal to). And the poor girl couldn't even go home, she was stuck in Italy and was taken to court as a 'suspect' in the murder even after the guy who did it confessed. There was a movie made out of this case, don't remember what it was called but the case was wild to research about after. I don't know if that girl was set free or not, but I do remember that she did go home at one point only for Italy to say 'send her back' for the same exact case (I was confused on that part but it seemed that without evidence they couldn't keep her but that lawmaker/senator guy kept on pushing for her to get arrested).
Media framing is a very volatile practice that has insane ramifications for everyone, and the person exploited - either willingly or not - is the person usually left behind. This is a really great topic.
As a mental palate cleanser you might want to read some Kevin stories. They are usually hilarious and less traumatic. You need that once in awhile so you don’t burn out on stories like these. You seem like such a good soul. You need that sunlight as a balance to the darkness.
The Newtown CT thing is real, I work there but live 40 mins away, didn’t realize my wedding anniversary was on the shooting until my first year working there… extremely awkward walking into work w/ extra bounce in my step, just to be met with a completely somber situation.
I was the victim of a violent home invasion. The press did one story based in the police report. They did not report the second victim he was charged with. The press didn't bother to show up to the sentencing. It was a crime against two women so it wasn't considered important
Wow. Story 21 was hard to hear. I mean nobody really did anything too wrong, he forgot his meds, but that seems like such a small error. I absolutely don’t blame the family I would be terrified if I knew he was around in case something similar happening, but if I was in his shoes, idk much about schizophrenia, but idk if he even remembers it, and he obviously didn’t have control. It’s the kind of situation where everyone is left scarred and shunned, and nobody is happy, and there isn’t even anyone to blame, or any real justice to be had.
story 21 honestly makes me sad yes he made a horrible mistake and i don’t often call murder mistake but he genuinely had no idea what he was doing or the affects it was causing, he was off his meds he has schizophrenia and now his entire family won’t even talk to him and they want him to stay in prison. he needs help not to be shunned for a horrible mistake, and tbh the family saying he needs to stay in prison instead of saying he needs help are honestly rlly horrible.
The story about the kids breaking into a celebrities home for a party was in my area & I knew a ton of the teens who went. Crazy to hear it here after 11 years!
I really do think that the less people talk about something, the faster the media will piss off. While I do believe that some coverage can be beneficial, most media are just interested in controversy and drama, and without they have no interest
The Guy who obliviously walked by a crime being committed in a park: The trouble is NOBODY EXPECTS TO SEE A CRIME! It's like seeing ghost, a UFO, somebody trying to jump off a bridge, etc......That Happens To OTHER PEOPLE, NOT To ME! Anybody remember the Psych experiment where the class was asked to watch a film of people passing a basketball back & forth, then tell how many passes occurred. Out of four classes with 40 students each, only ONE PERSON asked the question "Before or after the guy in the goriila costume ran in, beat his chest, then ran out?"
My bestfriends mom was renting out a hous to a women and her daughters boyfriend accedentally killed and he was ripped up but hearing these storys i cant help but feel bed for the parents who were constantly being questioned and interviewed
This reminds me of one of my good friends in elementary school. She was epileptic (petit mal). Her father was giving her a ride on the back of his four-wheeler. She had a seizure, fell off, and hit the ground. She died from blunt force trauma.
I have been in several car accidents. One of these accidents contained a fatality, and the other could have been much worse. Airbags and especially seatbelts saved my life in those two accidents. I was a passenger in both accidents. Ever since these accidents I will not drive a car until everyone has on their seatbelts. If someone refuses to wear a seatbelt, they have to find another ride.
A lot of these really sound like they should be able to sue the newspapers for ruining their damn lives. There's gotta be a limit to how much a private person can be harassed, ESPECIALLY when they're a victim of a crime AND IN THE HOSPITAL.
Sister of mine was a survivor of the Bataclan attacks in a scouting thing in Paris. She knew in passing a guy whose friend was at that stage missing (later found to have died behind a wall at the football stadium). Media chased this guy for days saying he (friend) was murdered before the bombing. Don't know what happened to him.
2:20 I usually feel some kind of way about capable people making a lofestyle of asking for handouts. But in that woman's case, give her whatever she needs! Because she deserves a lot of blessings to make up for what happened to her kod! And then to her, on top of it! God! People are just awful, some times!
You know, as a german, this is a rather strange concept. Victims or perpetrators names do not get told to the public, and when they do its usually because it happened in another country or it is happened to/by a prominent figure
As a person who has BCBS insurance and works in the healthcare field and knows about billing with certain insurances, the BS in BCBS should stand for something else. So annoying to get anything covered and so expensive.
I’d completely forgotten about this but I knew a kid whose mother murdered his father. He believed his mother was innocent and committed suicide shortly after we graduated from high school. He was messed up because his father was gone and his mom was in prison. Poor kid.
I think media reporting can be good when it comes to community issues to put pressure on our officials to actually do something. My small town is knee deep in SA scandal but national media has been silent so the same people are allowed to stay doing the same things in privacy
Wait , story 12, the family asks for no name to identify the victim but now they are complaining that she is not mentioned by name? So it’s disrespectful for the media to respect the request?
I’ve got one story, though I don’t know how popular this case even got. I had a friend in elementary who I only hung out with occasionally. (and I regret that) She was pretty nice and fun to be around. Though one day we’re told her AND her mother had been murdered by the mom’s boyfriend. There were rumors all around the school, and the only one I remembered being that apparently the guy had a freak out and beat them to death with some tools. I never found out what actually happened, and years later, when I was in like- 8th grade, my dad one morning was scrolling through some news site and saw that the guy was somehow STILL going through trial. Worst part was that he had supposedly turned himself in, so it made no sense to me why he was still doing trial. That’s the last I can remember of it. I still wonder what exactly happened and what happened to that vile man. It be nice to know though as closure.
Armchair detectives are the worst. When I was in high school, a guy living a few doors down murdered his wife because he thought she was having an affair and using the porch light timer to communicate with "all her lovers" (she wasn't - he was just an insane, controlling abuser). I knew the daughter of the house, not well, but well enough that I felt really bad about it. But it made the town news, and we all had to put up with idiots who thought they "knew better" and said that it was "a homeless guy who broke in" or even that the woman had killed herself and framed the husband - all "theories" that were totally ridiculous if you knew any of the facts - anything but blame the husband because even in the 80s there were plenty of people who wanted to blame the victim.
Obviously these are really heartbreaking stories but I have to say the background game play is beautiful! Stark contrast really! Was wondering what the game being played in the background is?
She went into foster care with a midwest religious family who robbed her of her $30,000 trust fund. Then they threw her out. This was after her father had annihilated her entire family and most of his coworkers. Church people stole from a girl whose entire family were slaughtered in front of her. She wrote a book, "Not Lost Forever."
My grandfather would lecture us (his kids and grandkids) not to drink and drive. He was a mechanic and owned his own shop as well as went out in the tow truck including for the cops I’m sure he saw some horrific shit when pulling up to the accident and probably didn’t want to pull up to one just to see one of our vehicles involved and find out we were the drunk drivers
I was friends with the cousin of a girl who perished in a car crash a while back. Her case wasn’t big, but it was big enough to be discussed on local news. To have my friend talk about all the things the news got wrong in the coverage of the event, it was a concrete example of how inaccurate and speculative the media is. And to know that armchair detectives treat these sources as gospel… Yeesh. (The reason why the crash got coverage was because she was joyriding while drunk. The irony was that she wasn’t even the one driving. The driver was sober as far as I know.)
In regards to story 21, I hope that guy ends up having some fulfillment living in that halfway house, sounds like he's giving his all to helping others after he himself went through what can happen when people don't get help they need. And the family is within their rights to cut ties with him, even though he was not in his right mind in the slightest when committing that tragedy there's still the fact that it happened and he's the one who did it.
My maternal grandpa was indirectly killed by the police. He was detained in California, and was pretty drunk. He had a heart attack and fell on his face before he was put in the drunk tank, and the officers there just laughed at him. He fell into a coma and was taken off life support. He never got the chance to meet me, but at least knew I was born. This was before social media was really a thing, so of course it was in California news and the officers were charged, but nothing came of it. I don’t hate police, honestly. Never will. But those officers? I’d love to meet them. So they can meet the granddaughter that he never saw.
There was a young girl named Ryan Harris who was murdered and SA'd in Chicago, she was about the same age as I was at the time and my mom was really good friends with her uncle. It's been about 25 years now but I remember at one point a 7 and 8 year old were being looked at as suspects but (if I recall correctly) it was due to a confession that they gave after being bribed and coerced by the actual killer.
10:35 I believe it's spelled "Odd", not "Od" :P I don't usually point out one time spelling mistakes, but I think I saw another one of your videos recently where you spelled it that way a few times as well.
The one about the two brothers who died while being pursued by police didn't get media coverage. Why waste space writing something that will be read by few when you can put an advert there.
16:07 it dosnt work it only hurts ppl so no there’s a repeat at this time Hello ppl 9:41 😂😂 I hate you stop that person he’s talking to oh ok i guess I’ll stop now
The baby could in a corn field frozen was smothered by her mother then put out there. Her mother is nuts she named her Isabelle like the possessed doll, yeah she unalived her baby. But what’s important to know, the couple that was left after a hit and run should apply for “crime victims” fund, in the States anyway, every hospital is required to help the patient with this info. The crime was hit and run. My SIL was shot while driving home after attending a wedding, it was around 1am, the shooters were never caught but it was determined to be a gang initiation where the ones getting to become gang members have to take the life of someone innocent. He was hit 4 times, arm, hip, thigh, and abdomen. Well over $100k in hospital bills. This happened in Dallas TX, and the only report was a couple of paragraphs in the Dallas morning news.
Story 22 - Did OP report anything to the police? Or did OP just sit there, observe it, and expect someone else to report it? It is entirely possible OP knew things and just assumed others did.
My uncle was a homeless drug addicted but for some reason I feel SO relieved about that he was killed when a train driver drove over him he was missing stuff meaning he was most likely mugged before death basically it put up as a murder but thankfully because he was homeless it wasn’t looked into and didn’t reach media this is really terrible tho I will NEVER forget this event and am very sorry for families who’s peer was murdered and never get confirmation the feeling of just unfinishedness is overwhelming like a canceled series ending in a cliff hanger
Can not call it intimately assaulted? I get it sounds better, but intimacy is supposed to be closeness between people like spouses and not even necessarily a sexual thing.
I really hate it when armchair detectives spread rumors and accuse innocent people. I cannot imagine the psychological toll that would put on you after loosing someone close to you, or being assaulted. The media, both commercial and social, are awful.

@@Hollyucinogen was it even relevant to the interview also why your knuckles isn’t there a lot more better injection sights
I know someone who got accused of doing meth because the physical side effects of their ed matched some of the physical ones of a meth user however the people accusing them refused a drug test as proof because it ruined their theory also meth user or not it wasn’t even relevant for the thing they were talking about people are wild
He didnt learn his lesson? Well, hopefully he stopped after the second time, it's just ridiculous at that point
@@artmaks9363
I agree. Diplomatic immunity shouldn't let people get away with killing someone.
Smh
👍🏾 I agree. God forbid these bored citizens get off their duffs and actually VOLUNTEER at all the places that are LITERALLY BEGGING FOR *HELP* !
Fr. People say it’s apathy but I think it’s just pure hatred. They hate victims for some reason. And I can’t understand, I hate people (only bad people) a lot and I could never say the things they say to innocent people.
I'll keep this one vague for privacy reasons.
So, a friend of mine is murdered
Police chase the wrong guy on minimal evidence (the suspected vehicle was abandoned after the murder about a quarter mile from this other guy's house, and that was all they had to go on).
👍🏾😢😢
That's so stupid that a couple had to go to court for kissing in a country where pda is legal tf lol
The cherry on top are the subtitles so we don't have to rewind in case we can't hear something clearly(all be it most reddit channels have this)

story 22... as i always say. if you ignore a cancer cell, it keeps growing till its terminal. ignoring it wont make it go away. it just gets worse.

I’m sorry for your loss and as some who has been through that (kinda small town too) I genuinely hope you never have to deal with that
My hometown has a problem with "unsolved" child murders.
1) They have lots of money
2) They make other people lots of money.
I remember my grandma telling me about this a while back
130 kph is 80 mph and 50kph is 30 mph for anyone wondering
The news releasing your information despite you telling them not to is grounds for a very high paying lawsuit.

The one about the town of drug addicts, I live in a town exactly like that, thank God my generation has finally had enough and most of us teens are doing our best to protect and shelter the littuns
Story 18 definitely sounds like the Virginia Tech shooting. We will never forget.
Good for you. You need to put your physical safety over his preferences.
Amanda Knox was proven not to have done it and officially exonerated in 2015. She's home now.
So, so many victims in one videos. May their memories be blessings.
I absolutely loathe when idiots say "he had mentally broke, so he couldn't control himself " just outrageous

A lot of these really sound like they should be able to sue the newspapers for ruining their damn lives. There's gotta be a limit to how much a private person can be harassed, ESPECIALLY when they're a victim of a crime AND IN THE HOSPITAL.

Same. I looked using every broad and specific search term but nothing showed up.

So they can meet the granddaughter that he never saw.
whats the game i saw someone playing it once but this video reminded me of it and i really wonder what its called
Abzu. I don't normally get motion sickness, but it gives me motion sickness. Fun game though. Just can't play it.
Not relating to the stories but I love to see Abzu in the background. A favorite game of mine :)
Why do “victims” even blow up on social media? Never really understood that.
10:35
I believe it's spelled "Odd", not "Od" :P
I don't usually point out one time spelling mistakes, but I think I saw another one of your videos recently where you spelled it that way a few times as well.
The one about the two brothers who died while being pursued by police didn't get media coverage. Why waste space writing something that will be read by few when you can put an advert there.
you always say discord in description and there isn’t any discord
16:07 it dosnt work it only hurts ppl so no there’s a repeat at this time Hello ppl
9:41 😂😂 I hate you stop that person he’s talking to oh ok i guess I’ll stop now
hello
Curious, hope I don't sound too stupid, but what does O P mean? You say it all the time referring to the people writing the stories.
It means original poster :]
# 21 the family can forgive for themselves, and still not have contact.
Possessed doll? Do you mean Annabelle? Either way, both are lovely and perfectly normal names.
Story 22 - Did OP report anything to the police? Or did OP just sit there, observe it, and expect someone else to report it? It is entirely possible OP knew things and just assumed others did.
My uncle was a homeless drug addicted but for some reason I feel SO relieved about that he was killed when a train driver drove over him he was missing stuff meaning he was most likely mugged before death basically it put up as a murder but thankfully because he was homeless it wasn’t looked into and didn’t reach media this is really terrible tho
I will NEVER forget this event and am very sorry for families who’s peer was murdered and never get confirmation the feeling of just unfinishedness is overwhelming like a canceled series ending in a cliff hanger
Story 15: looks like the guy took a plea deal and got 38 years in prison.
oh this is gonna be a good one
I'm trying to figure out what the game in the bg is. what is it.
Can not call it intimately assaulted? I get it sounds better, but intimacy is supposed to be closeness between people like spouses and not even necessarily a sexual thing.
None of those self-important covid comments aged very well.
Story 5: How come no remembered this when it came to Kobe Bryant.
I bet a lot of victims died under "mysterious circumstances" or "natural causes" etc once the attention was off them for a while.
what is the game in the background?
