Drones are supposed to be cheap, expendable, and fast to manufacture. War will always be based on combat attrition verses production capabilities. When the pace of attrition outpace the speed of manufacturing then the war is lost.. There is no perfect weapon system in the world, losses are inevitable. Well, you should take a look at what the MQ-9 really is. It's propeller driven. So what the Yemeni army actually achieved is to shoot down some supersized remote controlled Cessnas. That's not really an achievment you can be proud of, because it's so fucking easy. The MQ-9 is slow, has no counter measures and isn't stealthy at all. So what's achievment here they are so proud of? I don't see it. Every nation even with the lightest air defence could have achieved this.

Turkish drones are much more advanced than any drone. Simple is that. A Russian jet went just nearby this Reaper and it fell down. It did the same thing with a Turkish drone and unloaded jet fuel on it, yet nothing happened. Turkish drones continue flying after they get shot with bullets. Such attacks cannot even scratch their surface.
