Since the MATIC is on testnet, it is worthless for mainnet transactions. You would need actual money to use mainnet. Testnet tokens are for testing ONLY.
Are you getting any specific errors? Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the tokens to show up in your wallet. Also check the transaction process on the explorer
Unfortunately they're just for testing on apps but not worth any value. You can transfer within the Ethereum blockchain but that's about it. You can't cash it out and be worth something.

mumbai does't appear anymore in chainlist .
make sure you toggle the button to "Testnets" at the top close to "Connect Wallet"
