You two are priceless, and what a lovely relationship. I love your hair Robert, I'm 63 now with a still head of hair but IF it starts to fall out I'm going for something like that, or um, maybe Toyah's haha, so many options. Thank you sooo much for 50 years of wonderful sounds. :))
Whatever the pandemic was and ongoing problems are bringing you two to the world in this format through these times has been cool. More than you believe.
That portrait of you, Toyah, is a true labour of love. I love the beadwork of the Huichole people of Mexico and have two pieces I treasure. You are truly blessed to have been given this.
Lovely clip. Saw Toyah & Co on Monday and the show was fantastic. Re Chris Stein's magical lantern slide, it's worth taking in the Bill Douglas Museum in Exeter.
It's such a joy to find out about these objects and place them within our own lives. I was such a fanatic about Blondie in 1978, before Heart of Glass propelled them to stardom, and would never have guessed that Chris and Robert not only knew each other as friends but that he would gift Robert such a precious thing. Never would imagine such a thing listening to Plastic Letters on the turntable. That portrait of Toyah blew my mind when ai saw it was made of a million beads!!! Wow!! Thanks for sharing!!💕
Very true and wise sentiments.. The stand out memorabilia pieces for me would be the antique glass slides, extraordinary, and the lovely portrait of Toyah. I like the way the beaded surface makes it shimmer.. A really nice video, this, and a happy rest of weekend to you both and everyone! ❤️🌟❤️🌟👍
Love the bead portrait. Also love the info about Exposure, absolutely one of greatest underground masterpieces of all time. And love you two even more!
Robert has a great tie on. I love the gift from Chris ( the lantern glass) OMG on the shit, what a find in the closet. Toyah awesome painting and what a group of people to be painted with. You both are blessed with friends as I'm sure your friends say the same about having you as friends.
Good job the lanterns aren’t one of my objects of desire to be shown - it would take me at least half an hour rummaging around our kitchen to lay my hands on the torch!
Both of these pieces of art are absolutely amazing. I tend to agree with you concerning gifted artists and the loving giving spirit that permeates from them. Thank you for sharing.
Dunno if youse know, but that glass slide is meant to go in a 'Magic Lantern', a kind of Victorian slide projector: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_lantern ! The Victorians lit them with tealight candles but they work better with phone torches or LEDs. You can get them second hand surprisingly cheaply.

Toyah and Robert are the grandparents/great aunt and uncle that we wish we all had. Thank you for the music and stories from Canada.
Thank you Toyah and Robert for making me smile again and again! 💜
