DIY Hot Glue Hack make Amethyst Crystals

Hi!
In this video I show you how to make cool crystals from hot glue and a simple led light! The light comes from a camping store I bought ages ago and the hot glue from a hobby shop. Easy to do and with adding of some color you can make it look like amethyst and much more different kind of crystals :)

note that not all hot glue sticks can do this. I used flexible clear ones :-)

I just tried this crystal trick! Not all of them turned out as good (probably to do with the water temperature) but at least a third of the ones I made are gorgeous. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I tend to think that hot glue is often overused in DIYs but this a very clever use! what happens if you color every faces of the faceted glue crystal then dip it in hot water a few times?

cedricfilm Hi cedric, Thank you! :-) i colored the bottom to prevent visible marker patterns. I haven’t tried it yet the way you suggested so Must be worth Trying! :-))
