It all depends on the buffer you use . A rotary is the one only that will burn threw. A dual action which they use you can leave all day . Just UA-cam the difference there are tons of videos

It really is if you buy smart. I buy them like this and do it ALL the time. Not sure why people buy these cars that need so much work to flip. Just like him, I spend $500.-$750. I’m repairs to make sure it is in top shape.

You should do a course on detailing and your dad buffing. Have you thought about that?
the ford emblem is not faded, its silver. a lot of older fords have silver emblems
The paint would come off of these emblems showing the silver underneath. It was a common problem. Had it happening to my 09 Ranger on the tailgate, but some blue was still on there.
