Thank you for the look into one of the last known invasions of Pantelleria. Both narrators kept referring to the allied invasion as "Operation Workshop," maybe they translated incorrectly but it is know as operation "Corkscrew".
My grandfather was on the receiving end of that bombardment, and was taken prisoner by the British. He was a POW in North Africa, and I'm trying to find out what POW camp he would have been at. I wish I spoke Italian.. Is there any part of this documentary that talks about where POW's were taken? If anybody has any idea, please let me know! Thanks so much.
