Great to see a young lad digging all this stuff we heard first time round. The Paul Butterfield superb and Dr John a constantly played classic. (Pronounced Gree Gree). Got the framed sleeve on my wall.

Wow! A killer showing of some great records here! I could see each and every one of these in my collection! (Some of them are) I’m a big fan of Shadows of Knight and I’m in pursuit of their album releases on Super K label! That Curtdom label is actually a part of Buddah Records, the label famous for 60’s Bubblegum Rock and my fave label! Love that Bubble Puppy album Cool records! Peace ☮️✌️👽🤘☮️
Shadows of knight are a pretty great band! I have a few albums on Buddha records, but I'm not too into bubblegum pop. There are many great psych releases on Buddha like eire apparent and Yesterdays Folks U.S 69. Thanks for Watching ✌️ ☮️

Any of those thick mid 60s records can take abuse, so even if they look trashed they usually play fine. Face to Face is just fantastic. Fallen Angels - sweet! I didn't even notice the cover rip on the Bubble Puppy.
I have a few albums that look trashed but play pretty good. Got pretty lucky with the bubble puppy, the cover rip is in the perfect spot where it's barely noticeable. Thanks for watching! ✌️

You're killing me with that five dollar Sabbath find. Every time I run up on one they are close to thirty dollars, and that's in a record store . I never see one in a thrift store. That is a super find.

Your channel came up on my feed. I had a chance to see UFO in 1975. They came to my college with Edgar Winter and White Trash. It was a great show. I love your taste in music. The bands you mention are excellent. I’m glad you showed the Kinks They don’t get much love in the Vinyl Community. The Paul Butterfield album is fantastic. Mike Bloomfield is a great guitarist. You might want to find some of his solo stuff or stuff by the Electric Flag. Bubble Puppy is an interesting band. I don’t have any of their music but it’s very good music. I subbed your channel. Great stuff I really enjoyed it love the ufo bubble puppy groundhogs Dr John fallen angels shadows of the Knight, groundhogs is one of my favourite covers and the ufo flying album with headphones on is lift off, have a listen to the young flowers 1st album Danish band great pysch album also the tea company and neighbourhood children and dragonfly album's are a few of my favourites

Agree, Axis Bold As Love needs to be heard in stereo. I want both Fallen Angel albums.
The stereo mix is just way better than the mono and is probably the way Jimi wanted it to be heard. Thanks for Watching!

Hey man. I have that exact copy of UFO Space Rock and absolutely love it. Also love The Groundhogs, own all their lps. Shadows Of Knight is great garage. Kinks speaks for itself. I have a bunch of Butterfield, but rarely listen to it. Great psych finds as well, especially Bubble Puppy. Peace.
Yea the UFO album is super cool and I'm glad I got it, it's just that I had ordered the first German pressing and got that one. For The Butterfield Blues Band, I would listen to East West if your lookin to get back into them. It's great blues with a few psych leanings, mainly in the song East West. I had been looking for Bubble Puppy for a very long time so I was extremely excited to find it at a good price. Thanks for watching!

Hey man! Happy to see ya around again. Some great finds as always! I got lucky and found a nice tri colored Axis last year and it sounds great, however I’ve never heard a mono pressing so I’d love to hear the differences in them.
But nice Curtis album! That is absolutely my favorite hype sticker of all time, and it’s actually pretty damn difficult to track down a copy that has it! I’ve been trying to find a clean one online that isn’t outrageously priced for a while now, so hopefully soon! Nice pick up on the Bubble Puppy dude!! Such a great album, that and Demian are both great albums. I prefer Demian just a little bit more but both are great. Happy ya got a copy. Cheers Sorin, hopefully will see some more videos from ya!
Thanks Trent! Jimi sounds way better in stereo imo, the mono really doesn't do the album justice. I would love an upgrade of the Curtis album but I'm satisfied with my beater copy. I haven't listened to demian in a while but I saw demian at the same record show! Unfortunately the guy wants like 150 for it which I just cannot afford. @@sorinvinyl1523 I wonder if the mono mix is a fold down at all…would be curious to know that. But I’m very happy with my stereo copy! It sounds really great. But $150 for Demian doesn’t seem like a great deal…so I’d say good thing you didn’t grab that. I got mine for $88 and it’s really clean. But stoked to see the new videos as they come!
@@trentsrecords No it's not a great deal but I think it was like 20% off and it was a clean white label promo. I still wouldn't get it for that price if I had the money. It's just a cool album to see in the wild.

@@sorinvinyl1523 Yeah.. I know how it is.. If you like Blues Rock... try out some Savoy Brown.. they had killer vocalists back in the day, Chris Youlden ( my favorite ).. Lonesome Dave... and Dave Walker... sang on "Street Corner Talking.. Good hunting scoring cherry records ! JT
@@jtsrecordroom3963 I love Savoy Brown. I've only got their getting to the point lp, and I really dig it. I know that one has Chris Youlden, but ive never heard of the other singers. Savoy Brown is one of the groups that I just blind buy their albums if they're cheap enough without listening to them first, I've heard they're pretty much all very good. I am a big fan of blues rock, Ten Years After is probably in my top 5 favorite groups of all time and Cricklewood Green is just a masterpiece.

So.. when you find " Raw Sienna" " Looking In" " Street Corner Talking" Blue Matter" and A Step Futher" ...all of these as you say are equally good ! Alvin Lee and band were so great, I've never been that soaking wet from dancing, and moving with the music.. he busted a string during " Goin' Home"... kept singing, and playing while he wound a new string, and proceeded to shred the rest of the tune to the very end! agreed.. What A Band !! " Cricklewood" is killer.. I'm missing "Sssshhh"

I love both albums by The Fallen Angels, and a few copies of their first LP came with a lyric insert which is much rarer than the album itself (my copy doesn't have it). I've seen some dealers asking over $1000 for original copies of the second album by The Fallen Angels. The original mono copies of "The Great Conspiracy" are hard to come by. I got a nice copy of it a few years ago, and I paid almost $90 for it. It definitely sounds better than the stereo version. On the subject of the Roulette label, I recommend Thundertree and Morning Dew.

I got a really great deal on The Peanut Butter Conspiracy at a flea market, I didn't even know how good the deal was until I logged it on discogs. I have heard Thundertree, but I don't think I know Morning Dew so I'll check it out.
I think at the time of release that UFO was the album with the longest running time.

Elvin Bishop was an original member of Butterfield Blues Band ..He had good 1970s career with the song Fooled Around and Fell In Love ..

Yeah it's funny how some sixties records look all scratched up but still sound okay, been really getting into the kinks lately, I really like Arthur,I just bought the fiftieth anniversary repressing,two albums !! Lots of extra tracks. Love Paul Butterfield, have you heard the first Charlie musselwhite album very similar to Paul Butterfield band, it's called Stand back it's the Charlie musselwhite south side band, and it's great ,Harvey Mandel on lead, check it out.Gday from Melbourne mate,take it easy.
I absalutly love the kinks, what an amazing band. Village green preservation society is my favorite kinks album and might be my favorite all time album, it's like the best song writing I've ever heard. I haven't heard of Charlie Musselwhite album I'll have to check it out. Thanks for watching. ✌️

Great set of records you picked up. Re that Sabbath; that period of the green label Warner Brothers are always the best sounding imho. Doesn’t usually have to be the very first press. And a mono Dr John. Haven’t seen one ✌🏻
I didn't know the mono Dr John existed until I held it in my hands. Black Sabbath does sound great, I've got vol 4 also on green label and it's sounds awesome too. Thanks for watching man!

Hey man, I've been thinking about storing it that way after seeing other youtubers doing it, but I wasn't sure if it really made that much of a difference. I've started to take much better care of my records over the past year or so. I think I'm gonna try to remember to put the albums that way after I play them. Thanks for the suggestion. ✌️

Yea I've never taken the shrink off, but I have a few albums I'm considering, where the shrink is basically torn in half, I just can't bring myself to do it.

The Mighty Groundhogs cover is awesome. Im not into comic books but that artwork is great.
UFO is a great band. Their first two albums are more in the space rock, psychedelic, kind of hard rock at times. The rest of their albums are more hard rock. I prefer their first two albums. The Groundhogs are amazing and I also absalutly love that cover art. Thanks for watching! ✌️

I've got your standard Canadian bands like Rush, The Guess Who, Neil Young, I think John Kay from Steppenwolf was Canadian too. I can see the Plastic Cloud lp in your profile picture which is in my wantlist. There are some very cool Candian artists in my wantlist, but I do t have much in my collection. ✌️
@@sorinvinyl1523 Plastic Cloud is a must.I picked up a so-so copy for 50c decades ago and I have some sort of bootleg as well.The pressing is not great,so I wouldn't recommend a lower grade copy.Other great bands are the Haunted and the Ugly Ducklings (both play well in any shape).I am one of the few people who have had 2 copies of Bent Wind...still have one.

Both ...especially.. the Ugly Ducklings play fairly well in any condition.

I get a lot of luck at this record show that happens every month in my local area, but I also get great deals at antique stores and flea markets. It's all about the hunt for records you want, the more you go digging, the more likely to find a great deal. ✌️ ☮️
