I imported an EV scooter some 12 months back. It also has similar numbers for charging time, top speed and range but it costed me 170k. Dollar was around 150-170 back then.
I doubt this will be an affordable option for lower middle class families.
The best solution would be to give special concessional bank loans on these EV bikes, with special interest rates (like Imran Khan did with Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme). If the interest rate is fixed to say 5% and lets assume the bike costs around 2 lac, with 20% downpayment (40K) and on a 5 year loan plan, the monthly instalment comes upto about 4000. Everyone can afford 4k a month.
Not only it will be a huge relief to the poor but also decrease the government's fuel import bill.
Having said this, I doubt our motey pait, matric fail, Bari Bari moonchein, white cotton ka suit, V8 aur black dalley wale MNA aur MPA ko na yeh smujh ani hai na humei parhey likhey logon ko vote dena hai.

@@SaadJadunIt's a little counterintuitive but EVs perform better in the rain than ICE vehicles as they don't have an exhaust and electric motors do work while submerged.

Range 80 km maximum speed 52 charging time 7 hours ,nothing against new technology but not practical yet so it's just show piece ,it's an e Tron of Pakistani market of motor bike it's a luxury
She said they will remove the speed limit then you'll be able to go faster but one thing I'm wondering, if it's range is only 80km then if you're going at a speed limit of 80kmph, would that mean it will run out of charge just under an hour? Plus the fact that these EVs never reach their claimed range, so we can assume that it will only do about 60 to 70 km before it needs a charge again.
I don't think that's really practical.

@@umairmalik685 First of all, calculating with time is just a reference to how fast the bike will run out of battery. It is to look at it from a different perceptive.
Secondly, when charging, time is the tool that we use to calculate the charging timing right? So that's why I used a time reference to tell that this bike will take 6 - 7 hours to charge while it will only run for an hour after that, and then you'll have to charge it again for 6 - 7 hours and the cycle continues. Does that sound practical to you? I'm sorry but not to me.

CORRECTIONS:
1) @2:27 marker: not 2000KW, it's 2000W OR 2KW
2) Battery is 72V, 28Ah = 2KWH = 2 Units-of-Electricity not 1 as mentioned @marker 9:40. It would take 2 units of electricity to fully charge this bike from 0 to 100%.
Unless and until the range of electric motorcycles goes to 100-150km, people in Pakistan will be skeptical about them because of the lack of proper infrastructure. Range anxiety is a thing
But bro when companies increase the battery range they also gonna increase the rates so it is better not to demand for better range 100 km range is more than enough

@@MGxMITOSISYT That would all depend on the price. If it comes at around in-between 1 - 1.5 lac then it may be considered a student bike, otherwise, it's just a luxury. Also even if we go by their claimed range of 80km (which I'm sure it will never achieve), would that mean if we go at a speed limit of 80kmph then its battery will deplete under an hour? That doesn't sound practical to me, specially when you would have to charge it again for 7 - 8 hours.
Moreover, aside from the price, we don't know anything about their warranty period yet (even if there's going to be one), don't know anything about the battery replacement cost and whether it's going to be covered under the provided warranty.

The manufacturer should reshape and make electric bike without non-essential parts, No fuel tank needed , no engine space, means Redesign the bike's frame according to utilisation of parts and use 10 to 12 inches rims which makes it more faster quicker and energy efficient.
It all requires investment. I guess when market will respond and majority users will tend to buy EV then return on such investment will be relatively safer.

3. What is the performance range as well as top speed on doubling & trippling? Going on overhead bridges & underpasses?
Not sure about everything but the battery is waterproof. My friend has it and he has driven it through heavy rain here in Karachi

Because the so called manufacturers are only assemblers and import duty avoiders. 2kw motor is imported instead of 5-8kw motor which is required for 100kmph speed. And along with that EV kit they get an accelerator and battery of size 1-2kwh, for less than 1 lac. The battery should be 8-12kwh but that will cost around 5lac PKR to import from china. That will.give range of 200-500km at 60+ speed.
I have so many things to say. "this bike has pick like honda 125 as I tested it myself" and then you contradict it with "these units have speed limits". Don't use words like "perfect" to define your understading of the features. No, the seat is not "perfect". Your carbon contribution is not 0 if you use EV bikes because of 0 fuel consumption, remember you're using electricity and literally Pakistan burns oil and coal to generate electricity. Last thing on my feedback; don't use a single phrase too many times i.e. "when it comes to".
Answer to my single and the fundamental question.
WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF GETTING ELECTICITY AVAILABLE AT CHARGINGNSTATIONS? SOLAR, WIND, FOSSILE FUEL, HYDRO, or ATOMIC?
nothing a rudimentary search into the Pakistan energy sector couldn't answer for you. What's your point in asking this question?
My point is lying within the Intro provided by a lady in the beginning.
She is giving an impression that its a solution to petrol bikes.
But we all know that it is CNG-similar scam. Because if petrol prices hikes upwards, our electricity unit prices also moves upwards. So, it is not a solution. Secondly, if EV culture develops in Pakistan; what is the source? will it be fossile fuel causing more pollusion + line losses and charging EV is also have some extra energy. On top of that it will put additional pressure on our transmission system which is currently not able to take our existing energy requirements.
Thus EV revolution in Pakistan will bring more pollusion and more load-shedding.

Some important points regarding proton pakistan needs to be discussed.
I think goverment should take a decision to make charging points to publicly for these types of bikes So that no one is afraid of running out of charging and this is a very important decision especially for riders who use their bikes as online taxis like Bykea, Uber, Indriver and many more companies.

Inside City speed is minimum 60kmh and a cd 70 top speed is 70kmh which means engine vibrations and small engine gonna make your body and back break and also in 10 mintues you will tired as hell only ybr is the basic model and valueful india may is design k hazaro ktm aur dosray brands hain

Zero technical knowledge. She told that the motor this bike has is 200kW which is wrong. The thing she is telling about the voltage indication in metre is also wrong. There is no engine in this bike while she was saying something about engine. Pakwheels please do not let such people ruin your content quality. We do not expect this from pakwheels. She doesnt know the actual difference of Li-ion and lead acid battery

But a 500w solar panel and 1kw inverter with battery for a total cost 80,000 PKR and , it will power your bike for the next 25 years. The bike will not survive for 25 years. But even for 10 years per year running cost will 8000 i.e. less than 1000 PKR per month. The maintenance cost is 1 lac to replace battery after every 80,000 km or with reduced range you will have to replace battery after 200,000km compulsory. So overall the upfront cost is the real issue and the reason is import dependence and dollar rate.
