I love the music, it makes me think of Bluegrass. Is it considered to be Bluegrass or a totally different genre of music?

Bluegrass- created by Descendants of immigrants from the British Isles. Cajun-created by French speaking descendants of immigrants from Nova Scotia (Acadia) and France.

Well... let me put it this way. I live in SE Louisiana and married a Cajun girl so long ago. It sounds the same because they told a story either a tall tell or some experience someone so long ago experienced.
But it's music and all music that is pleasing to the ear follows the same movements of notes and chords.
As for Celtic music totally original their is a Scottish band here. Boss something or other. Sounds like it's straight from the Scottish highlands pre medival times.

The noun is pronounced 'blanc.' not blond
