This is the best install video for this mod I have a 10th gen si so assuming the steps and connectors are similar I’ll be going off this when installing thanks
Just did this exact same set up to my 9th gen, but for some reason I’m hearing clicking sounds when I turn. I’ve tighten it all down, all my buttons work but the sound is still there. Anyone have any suggestions why ??
Might be the wires/clips inside the hub that are moving when you turn. I had a clicking sound when I turn and it turned out to be one of the connectors being able to move. Taped it down, and sound went away.
The Bluetooth for phone and music still works without it plugged in. You just lose the button functionality from the steering wheel. If you still have the OEM radio, you shouldn't have any problems with Bluetooth/phone connection setups as you can still access it via the OEM radio buttons
Does your steering wheel make a crunchy noise when turning it? Any solutions for it? I tried taping the Bluetooth connector but it seems to still be making noise
I’m having the same issue, for me it’s the white connector and the shorthub because there’s not enough clearance causing it to sit unevenly, what shorthub are you running?
@@RalliartDylan Im using a steering solutions hub, haven't really figured it out, kinda got used to it this point because other guides usually have them remove the clockspring itself which I'm not planning to do.
@@calamityking1532 everyone else having this same issue is running the steering solutions hub, I’m going to buy the nrg one tomorrow and let you know if it fixes it, the clicking doesn’t bother me but when the wheel recenters after a turn there’s a bit of resistance which is really annoying
@@StayLurking I got the same set up when I finished up when turning my wheel clock spring clicks so what’s happening is where the wires go in at the bottom clock spring sits unevenly and that’s causing the issue
I didn't have to wire anything, besides the horn, which is just a ground and power wire that can be easily connected as they are supplied by NRG. & I just reused the OEM harness from the steering wheel.

Hey just wondering if all the rest of the cars airbags got disabled because of removing the steering wheel one
No, because I installed the Airbag resistors
What would the Bluetooth wire connect to? Because i use Bluetooth for music
