Ahhhhhh the borla ataks are very polarizing, you either love them or think they sound like "the devil's raspy farts." Another great group of words I have heard by many is "raspy trash" personally I love them! What do you think?
I just changed out my magnaflow catless for ataks tonight. Video does NOT do justice. Ataks are ridiculous loud. But people glare so you know it's the right thing. Keep killing it Jordan!
Do you have any other exhaust mods? I’m debating SLP1 vs Atak….

Sorry for the long post. So, this debate actually plagued me so much that I ended up buying both sets. For all of the reasons you stated, I enjoy the full richness of the Ataks. Plus, to me, it's an 03-04 Cobra...It's the will of the gods to make that distinct audible statement on the street.
I recently installed Stingers in place of my Ataks and damn near instantly regretted it. It's not that they didn't sound good. However, it was almost as if I had changed the car's individual personality with the Stingers. Audibly, my rowdy black Cobra became a different car to me.The sinister look was no longer backed up with what was, in my mind, a sinister sound. I reinstalled the Ataks a couple weeks later and all was 'back in black' with attitude.
In another way, I learned the value of Stingers on my Cobra convertible. I had Stingers on my convertible and had the bright idea one day to go with Ataks. That decision was a really bad idea. Running Ataks with the top down interferes with cognitive thought. With no roofline to shield the noise, it was brutally loud. Went back to Stingers. Ataks are best with coupes, Stingers are best with convertibles. But regardless of which system anyone chooses, polish those damn tails, people! Thanks for bringing this topic up, Jordan!! Keep up the great work!

Yea idk what Borla did to those to make them sound like that. They must be gutted on the inside.
I tried Magnapacks and they were too raspy for me. They had the 2k rasp lol.
So then I bought Borla S Types and bolted them into my existing Bassani pipe system.
Love it now.
But hey that’s what makes us all unique man! I love that you love what you love.

Borla ataks all day
Love the ATAKs Jordan! Once I heard them on tdibs review of yours I had to have em. I went with an H pipe though when I heard a GT like mine had it pairs to his ATAKs sounds great man!👌🏼👌🏼

Do have exhaust mods besides the cat back? I’m trying to decide between the Loudmouths and ATAK’s. Worried the ATAKS are quiet at lower RPM’s.

Be careful I revved at a lady one time 5 years ago and got a $400 noise ticket for aggressive racing of engine 😂
Few months back I was driving my truck home from work at night (its straight piped) and someone shot my window out. I assume its because of the exhaust. I was on a main road but I guess they still didn't want to hear it.
I was sold on running atak’s after seeing David’s video until I bought a cobra with stingers and an off-road x already on it and honestly the stingers are really loud anyways lol they’re about perfect in my opinion but I’ve never heard atak’s in person.

We’ve had a little snow on the ground for a few weeks now. So roads have some salt and dirt. Plus the roads are frozen and bumpy. Cars parked until Mar-Apr. I love that time of year tho, you can just smell relief in the air 😁

Is that Still with the ported Eaton blower? Have you thought about Turbo maybe even twins. 631 not too bad still smoke them when she wants

Titling said 700 horsepower he claims 600 torque in the video not too bad still relatively stock. I still favor the 03 and 04 Cobra terminators...
@@jonroberts6518 I had a stage 6 steg package with the shortened snout, pretty much near identical to this. Just without the cooling mod.
On 93 on a hot day I would make 500WHP, on a cold day I made 531whp 525rwt.
I was on the same boost as this car, 60 pound injectors.
The car in his video is running an ethanol blend, looks like it’s making around 560-570whp.
If you’re talking crank hp I’m making 720 and that’s on 93 pump, not flex.
If I switched to E-85 I’d make around 800-820hp.
Bottom line is, you won’t make 700hp or 600whp on a ported eaton with a stock motor on 93 pump gas.
Longtubes vs stock manifolds have a lot to do with rasp
They definitely make things more spicy

It wasn’t the first famous terminator video, there were many before mine. The Ataks really made it different, sure any terminator would have done well but the whole video harped on the Ataks the whole time.

@@Jordancraigmiller I feel ya. I’m in my mid forties, have arthritis, and can no longer digest solid foods due to esophagus issues. Liquid diet for the duration, but I keep wrenching and moving forward. The dream is to build a shop and just focus on new edges.
