- I spent a week in Portugal traveling solo and had such a great time. The food was delicious, the viewpoints or miradouros were stunning and the sunsets were breathtaking. Portuguese people were very kind and welcoming. I had the most beautiful time and I'm already planning my return. I visited Lisbon, Sintra (Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira), and Arrábida Natural Park.

Such a great travel vlog! I was a little skeptical at first clicking on the video because of the length but you got some amazing footage, you were engaging and it was beautifully edited, it didn’t feel like an hour! Hey Jazmil! What a beautiful place! The architecture and scenery were just everything. I was just in awe the whole time I was watching. I really need to travel way more than I have and stop talking about it. I've always been so scared to travel solo though. You make it look so easy..lol. The rock climbing looked like a lot of fun. You did a great job. Was your heart beating out of your chest, lol? I love seafood also, so I would have been in heaven. I've had calamari before, but never Octopus, it's definitely something I would have wanted to try out of the country for the first time, instead of the states. Loved your outfits as usual. I really liked the brown dress combo and also the jumpsuit . Now you got me on the website of the shop looking at those tile trays. lol. Any-who, thanks for taking us along on your travels. ✌🏾💚
Hey Tiff!! Portugal is breathtaking, beautiful views and scenery all around. I encourage you to travel if you can, the world is so big and there's so much to see and experience, I think Portugal is a great destination to go solo. This is my second solo trip and I liked it much better than the first country I went to. I was scared as hell when I was coming down those rocks lol but it was such a fun experience, I'd do it again. OMG the food was exquisite!!! Such amazing food everywhere I went. The customized tiles are so nice, I'm in love with the tray I got, you know I love home decor so I had to get something to bring back. Thanks for watching 🥰☺️💛

There's a lot to see and do in and around Lisbon, not to mention many other cities and villages throughout the country. You need to go back.
When you showed those "pastéis de nata" that the hotel gave you and you said "I'll save them to tomorrow" I was like "nooooo!" and I had to pause and write this. That almost felt like a sin to my portuguese soul. :-) Pastéis de nata are best when fresh because they're crusty and much more tasty.
😂 I was going to eat some later that day with a friend so I had to save them. I still enjoyed them the next day but you’re right, they’re definitely more tasty when fresh

Hey Wanderlust, I'd also recommend Iceland for a first solo trip. That was my college graduation gift to myself and I had a ball. If you like nature - waterfalls, geysers, black sand beaches and spas (Blue Lagoon). That's the spot

last year i went to Lisbon for my last few days in portugal (after visiting family) and bro they don’t play when it comes to those damn tests i sneezed like 20 times and was teary eyed for 10 minutes😭

I was actually supposed to be going to Italy instead of Portugal 😅 yes, to dine inside they ask for your digital pass or vaccine card but not a negative test. I only showed the negative test to fly in and out of Portugal

What a gorgeous woman. And a gorgeous trip. I'm interested in the COVID19 restrictions since I have a layover through Lisbon from Paris. Can you tell us more about what process you had to go through? Did you have to show a digital vaccination pass to get into the restaurants you went into. I see you were wearing your mask sometimes. What should I expect. So beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you 😊 yes, I was asked for a negative test to enter Portugal and for my vaccination card when I first checked into the hotel. To dine inside at restaurants I was able to show the digital pass and had no issues. Make sure you have both just to be safe. Enjoy your layover!

Hey, yes both Lyft and Uber adjust to the location you are requesting a ride from as long as the service is supported in the country you are in

I have put off Lisbon for so long. I really want to go. Do I need to know Spanish or Portuguese??? Do want to have a language barrier like when I traveled to Barcelona.
Thank you! I used my Canon G7X Mark II camera and my iPhone interchangeably.
Everybody I encountered spoke English so knowing how to speak Portuguese is not a must to be able to get around
Did you feel pretty comfortable walking around at night by yourself? Im going to Lisbon next month and I’m hoping it’s a fairly safe place to be able to do some night strolling!
I did feel comfortable walking around at night, there were always plenty of people around but I recommend always exercising caution
Do you not get bored being by yourself when you solo travel? I traveled solo for the first time a couple months ago and after a couple days it got kind of boring by myself after like 4 days.
This was my second time traveling solo and I did not get bored because I made sure to have something to do every day that I was there. However, my first solo trip got a bit boring because it was a 3 week trip and I had already done everything I wanted to do within the first week. I think it's all about finding the perfect amount of solo time that suits you.
