Most epic mountain bike trail sequence I've ever ridden - Part 1: Magnificent 7 to Great Escape

- The Magnificent 7 MTB trail sequence in Moab, Utah is EPIC! The trail sequence includes 7 separate trails running from flowy intermediate trails to the final decent on a ledgy, cliff edge bench cut pro line. I've ridden The Whole Enchilada, Palisade Plunge, Lemmon Drop, Spinal Tap, Seven Summits and a number of other epic composite trail sequences. But none offer such overall amazing scenery, fun, physical and skill testing decents like Magnificent 7! This video is the first part of a two part video series - there was simply too much epic footage to condense into a single video.

Won Ron. WOW!! I don't have words other than you are living my dream! We did part of Bull Run and super enjoyed it. Looking forward to part 2 of your journey along the Mag 7 trails. Please hurry with the part 2 upload!
Yes, it is definitely a dream! But, Part 2 is a little more "type 2 fun"...where, in spite of the challenge to come, the sense of accomplishment is part of the reward. And the scenery enroute left me speechless to describe! It definitely made for an ovall epic day! Thanks for watching!
That was super-duper awesome!
Thanks for the compliment! I think Part 2 of this ride is even better...more challenging and scary but also even better views, if you can believe it! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thanks for inspiring old guys like me (59). I’ve done porcupine rim but I’m hoping to go back for more.
Thanks for the compliment! Glad that these videos inspire you to ride them…the trails also inspire me to video and share them. There are so many great trails throughout Utah! Thanks for watching!
Great video Ron,
Love your riding adventures, I did la enchilada a few years ago and this looks pretty similar, less altitude and descent I guess.
Thanks for the compliment! I would say Mag 7 is harder and scarier than Whole Enchilada. And the scenery I’d also probably even better, if you can believe that! Thanks for watching!
Ron - are you mostly riding by yourself? Ahhhhh I watched a little further and you answered. It seems like a long ride to do solo. What is the gps device you use?
Yup rode by myself. And yes, it’s a long ride. I use gps from strava…but if you are thinking about a satellite service, then that is Zoleo, which comes with an electronic device and a monthly service fee.
