Getting my non-pro LV2 this Wednesday. I appreciate you just jumping into it and just exposing it's good sides etc. All products have a negative or flaw about them but, your reviews never leave me disappointed.
Just got mine recently and I love it. It's definitely not cheap but It works great with my setup and the sound is fantastic. I wanted something like this for my desktop and so far it hasn't disappointed me.
Hi, did you have your headset attached to it? And do you have a high quality (7.1) headset as well? Will the soundbar stop the moment you turn on your headset?

Hope you're still watching comments Techne! I have an 40 inch Innocn 40c1r ultrawide. The Razer Leviathin V2 Pro will allow me and my kids to watch each other play rounds of any game while not sacrificing so much of the virtual soundstage you'd get from headphones.
heard good things about this one. Personally I have a Soundblaster Katana v2. I love it so much Would love to see a comparison from you, seeing how the katana v2 is more expensive out of the two.
5.1 system is better but I like to compare it with the pro soundbar. I'm sure 5.1 is still better but by how much?, And lets face it, a soundbar is much more convenient. It's either wires all over or outlets or batteries. In my case, no thanks, but to each his own.
I was an all razer "guy"... I had Nommo pro for years, but I needed to replace it with a soundbar for my new build. So I picked up the leviathan v2 pro since all these youtubers say its amazing... I'm like... um... not even close... (same for the new V2 Nommo line).... just trash. Shame really, feels like these guys are shills or lack experience in reviewing these types of products. Anyways after I returned this POS I picked up JBL bar 9.1 since it was on sale... and the Nommo pro even sounded better than that... after tons of research I ended up getting the Polk Audio MagniFi Max AX SR it was the only sound bar (at this price) that felt like an upgrade from the Nommo pro... now i just need to install RGB on it! lol

I totally agree with something from this video: you have to experience it for yourself.... its obviously super subjective! I'm very much considering going back to a speaker setup I used 20 years ago....I used Creative GigaWorks S750, which was genuine 7.1. The amount of time trying various virtual surround solutions...nothing seems to come close to discrete surround speakers, which is a shame! In an ideal world, there'd be a way to have super convincing (and accurate) surround, via headphones. I thought head-tracking would be the solution, but apparently not.
This was the perfect review, my current build unfortunately doesn't have Bluetooth so I needed a USB speaker to keep the cable management good and this was right up my ally, appreciate it!

Great video Techne! Price is high but it seems worth it if this is what you’re looking for. I’d rather watch movies and videos on speakers than headphones so this can fit multiple purposes other than gaming. I wonder how the head tracking works with multiple people? Sometimes I play story games with my SO watching and I wonder how that’s handled.

Why have a 3.5mm audio jack but only make it an output? Make it an input and I can connect my Xbox to it. Such an expensive speaker without optical audio or even auxiliary. 🤦🏻♂️

I dont know, I can get the samsung q600c w surround speakers with little price difference from where I am. I have enough desk space for it too, but Im not sure about prolonged near field experience. (Oh, and also the older JBL 5.1 w detachable speakers)

LETS GO!! HOP ON THE RAZER BANDWAGON! It shocks me that razer still has a bad rep when they are currently putting out some of the best products. I always look for speakers for my setup, but never pull the trigger. I only use headphones.
Only thing its missing is tweeters..however it does sound decent for gaming stuff I’d put this right behind edifiers g5000 in terms of sound quality. Neck and neck with katana v2.
Unrelated, i have the Iskur... and I love the lumbar feature... but I took a gamble on razer and i have to say that after 6mo, its the squeakiest, worst built chair I've ever experienced. I got it for half off on amazon and I'm disappointed with it like all things razer makes. Expensive, looks and feels decent but starts to break down after half a year..
Idk. I have 2 mice and 3 headsets from razer and they are all great.. one headset mic broke but it was my 7yo kids and im sure he broke it.. you can't hate a brand because you had issues with one line of product, especially a chair. Gaming chairs are all junky.. I'm not a razer fanboy at all, but the items I have work well and my 2 razer mice feel miles ahead from the g 502 hero Logitech mouse I got my kid.
At $400 it is hard to justify. I get the Audio is Awesome but $400 for Computer Speakers is a little Extreme. You might as well get Steelseries Top of the line Headphones and save a little money.
I have an Echo Studio and for 200 bucks it is incredible. I think the circular design produces certain effects my Sonos Beam is not capable of. Not saying it's the end all be all but for 200 its very good.

Does that one work with all devices including consoles? Because It's kind of annoying that the Razer doesn't work with consoles.
Katana V2 isnt the more expensive? This is the Leviathan V2 Pro, its $400
@@armen1136 it can be connected as a tv soundbar and I'm pretty sure you can connect it to consoles since it uses hdmi (arc).

Many wifi pcie cards exist and could work for you. Many have Bluetooth.

I use the g560 for the last 2 years and they do a great job.
G560 are just alright in terms of SQ, though.

My atmos surround bar setup costs more than my 48" OLED and is totally worth it. That said, any sub $300 3.1 to 5.1.2 setup will be better than this.
