Thanks for the video...I replaced the filter and did not know that I had to do a reset...the light was still on red...after watching I was able to do the reset and now it's good to go. Thanks again!

I'm confused about hepa and carbon filters....which is better? I am under the assumption carbons are better because of their ability to get rid of vocs.

sometime , at first use , its possible than any of those purifiers have a smell , but it wont stay
Do these reduce dust significantly? To a point you have to wipe your furniture less ? Or same thing ?

@@jtbaronowki it’s really good. And quiet. I’ve only had it for 3 days. So we’ll see how it reduces the dust. Which was my main focus.
On thing that helps a lot for dust is to turn it on higher when you are not home and then you can turn it lower when you are home if the sound bothers you.

This particular model got a great review amongst other purifiers in an unbiased test. Does anyone know if the newer higher priced 777I0 is better? It ought to be. But you never know? There could be some mistake they need to weed out etc? Anyone please? Thank you

I wouldn't try. It will likely mess up the air flow.
I don't know any better, but in my mind that's like adding filters to your home A/C where they didn't exist before. It just adds extra strain on the motor, extra resistance for the motor to work harder thru. Just my uneducated two cents.

Not built in but it works well with an external timer.
how often do you need to replace the filter?
I'm not sure, will depend on usage. I would say about annually though it will tell you when it needs replacing.
website says if u run it 24/7 they recommend 6 months

The filters are expensive to replace

I bought a blue air 311 auto for my bedroom. Filters are half the cost. And it's just as effective as cleaning the air in comparison to this unit.
My bedroom is 156 square ft. The 311 is a 250 CFM unit, and is rated to clean the air of a 386 square ft room every 12 minutes.
The 211 is overkill for a bedroom. It would be better used in a living room, or a kitchen. A large space that's vulnerable to serious odors

@@CEJ626 I mean ya just close the vent and put something under the door like a blanket or towel an I open my window just for the smoke it's does filter the smoke really good but replacing filter I never remember
@@oldirtyguru7004 yea I’m not worried about the smell going through the door or anything I just don’t like the residual smell even with the windows open. But they have a new filter made for wildfire smoke so ima try that. For now I’ve just been running the air purifier and if there’s any smell left over I found a ZEP aerosol spray that kills the smell of smoke.
