- The opening track from 1988's In A New Age album, recorded in one day by Mickey with violin accompaniment from Marie Rhines, "All My Trials" is a traditional song arrange by Newbury. Usually the final third of his "An American Trilogy", it was recorded here as a separate piece. Kris Kristofferson once said that Newbury's work was a big source of inspiration for him. There ought to be a law that excludes really great people from dying. But maybe then the myths will die and what's life without them.
