I speak 5 languages and the best way to learn a language is to fully emerage into the language you want to learn and surround yourself with as much as possible. Language learning is all input. Not saying learning is not important, but input is the root way of learning a language. At least it works for me.

Depends on where you come from, but yeah. The grammatical structure in german is a bit hard to get used to. I am Norwegian/ Half Danish btw.

Deine Aussprache ist richtig gut, hätte ich nicht erwartet um ehrlich zu sein, das Wort was du ausgewählt hast, war auch nicht gerade leicht, man merkt du hast fleißig gelernt, meinen Respekt Ruri, weiter so.

I have a lot of respect for people who can speak more than 3 languages.
Ich finde es cool das du so gut Deutsch sprechen kannst, wenn man bedenkt das man ganz anders denken muss als bei türkisch oder japanisch. Der Satzaufbau ist ganz anders.

Die ganzen Artikel, die verschiedenen Fälle und grammatikalischen Besonderheiten… ich hab einen großen Respekt vor jedem, der der es schafft deutsch zu lernen und dann flüssig zu sprechen. Grade für englische Muttersprachler ist deutsch ja immer eine große Herausforderung wegen der Artikel aber jeder kann das schaffen. So to everybody who might be reading this: go learn German! It’s a difficult yet beautiful Language and you won‘t regret learning it 😌

Depends where r u from. U can be fluent in German in 6 months even if u start from 0.
@@zona8224 I'm from algeria , i studied german when i was 18, i'm 26 now, and i still find it difficult tbh even tho my ex was a german teacher ,she used to teach me how to properly pronounce it but still lol, ,and i can speak arabic , french, spanish and kabyle (native language) + english obviously, i really want to learn japanese.

@@edalkarvel5865 Japanese pronunciation is easy on the tongue. At least for me as a Swahili speaker. Similar manner of speech and words are not too alien. The grammar and sentence structure won't screw you over but the Writing.... Ooh the writing.

What does me help a lot improving English and german is Latin. Since i learn Latin my understanding of my other languages skyrocketed, did you know 70% of English words derive from Latin? First, i was thinking about learning Japanese but then i opted for Latin for the sake of my other languages. Maybe i will dabble a little into Japanese too in the future, but i think with 3 languages i am at my limit. You have the major benefit of being raised bilingual, that i think is of great value. I am glad i have found your channel, your tips and knowledge about languages is a treasure chest.

I learn German by being born there. Sure, it took me seven years to learn the language, but it was mostly painless. I recommend this method as the best one for leaning your target language. I.e., to be born in the target country 😀.
In that case, you did NOT learn German. You were just born a native speaker of that language. There is a difference in acquiring your first language as a child and learning it from scratch later on, believe me.
Hey there I really like your videos very much im learning a lot how to manage my time, congrats for the channel!! I realized that the level of the audio in the different videos is not constant, so some videos have a very good quality and are higher and in others the audio is quiet low comparing with the others. Just a suggestion. keep up the good work!!!

Great video, if I may, I would like to add a 4th aspect how to learn German and/or English:). But this is only effective, if your followers working the first three aspects diligently you were talking about in the video.
Personally I like watching animation movies such as Walt Disney, Pixar etc., because the characters often speak clearly in those movies. As a native German speaker I learned a lot of English phrases from these movies by hearing and watching facial expressions in specific scenes. This makes it way easier to recognize words/expressions/phrases etc.:)
Şahsen ingilizcemi üniversitede makaleler okuyarak gelistermeye calisiyordum, ve ayrica cizgi film/diziler/youtube olsun, bunlari ingilizce izliyorum. Heleki disney/dreamworks falan bu filmlerde karakterler cok güzel bastira bastira konuştuklari icin, kulak dolgunlugu olur ve gayet güzel ögrenebilir yabanci dil:)
I am amazed at how much you've grown your channel in just a few months and with so few videos. While I have been making content on UA-cam since 2013 and only at 69 subscribers. it honestly makes me a bit jealous of you.

I really wish that I did that coping technique because that would have helped me so much during the process. I have been self learning Deutsch since quarantine (we took just A1 in school) and then my writing and listening are very good but my speaking skills are really pathetic.. it's a lil hard being an adult and read like a child.
So, I will just add to from the beginning force yourself to do the most uncomfortable things and don't watch yourself. Thanks Ruri for those Tipps, I will try them when I start a new language
Ruri, Would mind adding English subtitle to your videos? I have been watching your videos for a few weeks, and honestly, I have learn a lot from you, I usually copy your words used in the videos, remember them and use them in my English class and it helps a lot me to be involved during the class.
I normally add automatic subs for English 🙂

The problem is, it takes hours to make subtitles manually.

what I like about Ruri is that she is deep and practical with effort and dedication and love for a culture you arrive at the goal, adapt the language to you what you love, work on it, customize your methods you arrive at your goals . There is no bad or better language, what exists is a lack of interest and procrastination of the human mind.
