What is a Valve or Tube ?

The valve or tube is the major component in classic radios, televisions and amplifiers. Let's celebrate the valve a look at my birthday present the ECL 86. I have asked for a transistor next year :)

By 1972 the only thing that still had valves/tubes in it was our colour TV. Every other thing was “solid state” or transistorized. The manufacturer of that TV was RCA Victor.

Yes. 1000 agree with you. Valves sound better. No second opinion needed. Some say it is a distortion. But hey I love that distortion than the modern days emulators put out.

I loved my 807's 😂
My first medium wave tx had an ECC83,6L6 and an 807...The DTI didn't like me ofcourse 😂
