From UNSEEN ROMANIA to UNSEEN SWEEDEN 2024

Stockholm's Cultural Night (Kulturnatt), a major annual event in the Swedish capital, took place on April 20, 2024. This occasion offered RCI Stockholm a unique platform to present several cultural events aimed at engaging a younger audience. As part of the official program for Stockholm Cultural Night 2024, RCI Stockholm hosted four events at its headquarters (Skeppsbron 20, Gamla Stan) over a six-hour period, from 18:00 to 24:00.
One of the highlights was the audio-visual jazz performance "Trompetre," featuring trumpet player Petre Ionuţescu and video designer Cristian Văduva. The event attracted hundreds of attendees, filling RCI Stockholm's spaces to capacity. Additionally, RCI Stockholm commemorated the 35th anniversary of the Romanian Revolution of 1989 with the cine-concert "The Unseen Revolution," blending live jazz with ambient fantasy music.
The two artists, Cristian Văduva and Petre Ionuțescu, created a short film reflecting their journey from Romania to Sweden and their experiences in Stockholm from the beginning of their adventure.
