      If you get worried about the bottom of the bucket being scratched up, take a skateboard and put the buckt on top. When it's full it should be heavy enough not to slide of the board when you pull it. Also the board usually has a rough coat on it to prevent slipping...

    I personally don't like using toothbrushes on saddles as they can scratch the leather. Cotton buds or q tips I find get in the creases without scratches.

      You could try a soft toothbrush. I find them to be way too soft to clean teeth, but they could be the ticket to cleaning the saddles without leacing scratches.

    my friend tried the ketchup hack and the horse got really impatient and started moving so she couldn't rince out all of it. He now has a pink tail 😂😂😂😂😂

    Just realised 😂 if you drag the bucket it will actually rub the bottom and cause it to crack 😂 it’s happened to me so definitely always carry it!

      Put it on a skateboard and pull it that way. If it's full then it's heavy enough not to slide off and it's way easier to pull, too!

    At my barn we use something called "safety straps" they are basically old stirrup leathers that we buckle around their necks and attach it the the saddlepad to prevent the saddle from sliding back

      Cool also if you use a thing so it’s like a buckle that u put on the back and it keeps the saddle in place also that’s a really good hack

    You can also use vinegar in the tail and after rinsing it out, you can use normal shampoo to get the smell out

    We call it bailing twine in Australia and eucalyptus wool wash is great for grey tails. Love the lead tie, very neat and tidy. Enjoy your ponies 🐴🤠

    I love all of you I have been subscribed for 1 year now you are the reason why I actually started riding again. Basically I used to ride loads when I was about 5 I really enjoyed it but I took a break then wanted to start again 3 years ago yet on the first time the horse bolted I was so scared I could only walk yet last year I came across your channel and wanted to have my own horse so I started loaning a great 14.3hh pony called Dudley he completely changed me as a rider now I own Dudley and retired him as he kept going lame from working so thank you esme so much for everything you’ve done for me and thank you mickey and Casper for always being amazing 💕 please pin this to show people they can really do something if they want it, I am currently jumping now and I couldn’t be more thankful for you!!!!

    14:10 I don't do that, but I do something very similar. I put my gloves in my hat. Then I put my hat in my body protector, it keeps everything together and the hat doesn't have to go in a bag 🙂🙂

    Life hack: put clips on the end of the haynet so you dont have to do the knot! They are just as secure and twice as fast to take on and off! (Handy when you have 30 haynets to fill!)

    I put lick-it balls in my horses water bucket in the winter, he doesn’t eat or bother with the lick-it but he loves the flavour that he gets from the water! These tips are so useful. I’m probably your only welsh fan! Wales uk 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Did you know that very white or pale ponies tend to have more brittle hooves. I found that out today! I switched to a new farrier and it turned out we should have switched to him ages ago!i can't believe how good these hacks are! Love you esme❤️❤️❤️❤️

    I’m a hair stylist and to get yellow out of hair we use purple. If you haven’t yet done this I would use a purple shampoo instead of ketchup haha it’ll counteract the yellow and brighten up the white!

    have you tried a dark coloured water bucket for casper, i’ve noticed that horses often spook at white and light colours, maybe bcs they’re just unnatural, plus i’m guessing a dark bucket might seem more similar to the water trough?

      Our horses are the exact opposite ours refer drinking out of white/ lighter coloured buckets than dark ones
