If you get worried about the bottom of the bucket being scratched up, take a skateboard and put the buckt on top. When it's full it should be heavy enough not to slide of the board when you pull it. Also the board usually has a rough coat on it to prevent slipping...
I personally don't like using toothbrushes on saddles as they can scratch the leather. Cotton buds or q tips I find get in the creases without scratches.
You could try a soft toothbrush. I find them to be way too soft to clean teeth, but they could be the ticket to cleaning the saddles without leacing scratches.
my friend tried the ketchup hack and the horse got really impatient and started moving so she couldn't rince out all of it. He now has a pink tail 😂😂😂😂😂

Awwwwww we love Casper and also This Esme is an amazing channel. I just love seeing the beauty of horses and ponies and engaging with a community where we all love horses and ponies.
At my barn we use something called "safety straps" they are basically old stirrup leathers that we buckle around their necks and attach it the the saddlepad to prevent the saddle from sliding back
Clicked so fast, love your videos. I have a really tricky horse and I was going to give up but you helped me get through it at the time and now we are jumping 90 and showing
I love all of you I have been subscribed for 1 year now you are the reason why I actually started riding again. Basically I used to ride loads when I was about 5 I really enjoyed it but I took a break then wanted to start again 3 years ago yet on the first time the horse bolted I was so scared I could only walk yet last year I came across your channel and wanted to have my own horse so I started loaning a great 14.3hh pony called Dudley he completely changed me as a rider now I own Dudley and retired him as he kept going lame from working so thank you esme so much for everything you’ve done for me and thank you mickey and Casper for always being amazing 💕 please pin this to show people they can really do something if they want it, I am currently jumping now and I couldn’t be more thankful for you!!!!
14:10 I don't do that, but I do something very similar. I put my gloves in my hat. Then I put my hat in my body protector, it keeps everything together and the hat doesn't have to go in a bag 🙂🙂
I was at a three day event last week and I had to fill up two water buckets and I didn't want to carry both of them so I used that hack and it really worked
Life hack: put clips on the end of the haynet so you dont have to do the knot! They are just as secure and twice as fast to take on and off! (Handy when you have 30 haynets to fill!)
I put lick-it balls in my horses water bucket in the winter, he doesn’t eat or bother with the lick-it but he loves the flavour that he gets from the water! These tips are so useful. I’m probably your only welsh fan! Wales uk 🇬🇧 🏴
Did you know that very white or pale ponies tend to have more brittle hooves. I found that out today! I switched to a new farrier and it turned out we should have switched to him ages ago!i can't believe how good these hacks are! Love you esme❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ok so I'm kinda weird and read everything on packaging... And it literally says on the magic brush packaging that the back of the brush can be used as a sweatscraper🤣
My friend has a new foal and sometimes I help out with him, but when I get asked to do the hay net I can never find the opening and I end up getting my hands tangled and that bucket hack is really going to help me, Thank you ❤
I’m a hair stylist and to get yellow out of hair we use purple. If you haven’t yet done this I would use a purple shampoo instead of ketchup haha it’ll counteract the yellow and brighten up the white!
have you tried a dark coloured water bucket for casper, i’ve noticed that horses often spook at white and light colours, maybe bcs they’re just unnatural, plus i’m guessing a dark bucket might seem more similar to the water trough?
You should really give it a try, my bff forced me to ride with her and now i do horse shows. Now horse back riding is my life and has been since 1st grade Give it a try xx
I ride at a stable on Saturday and that explains why the styrips are never the same in both sides.. I like she a double twist in one and no twist in the other
Thank yo for the life hack at 9:22 I have a cheeky pony as well and then he would roll in it and get all muddy because he is a grey pony so I know u feel

Jackie G that’s what I do too 😂
You could try a soft toothbrush. I find them to be way too soft to clean teeth, but they could be the ticket to cleaning the saddles without leacing scratches.
or you could use a flannel the indivisible fibres get in the creases
Jackie G..... Yeah but you are supposed to use a soft toothbrush...... they work fine

Pferde Freak so would I!
Omg yes!
🦆
All of them?... that would be a LONG video 😂
Whiskey Chick so you just want a video of Esme cleaning saddle pads? You’re weird
17:06 omg I can’t stand Mickey’s cuteness!!! It should be illegal to be that cute
I always use the hose one!! And instead if carrying it I just fill the bucket in my ponies stable
This Esme is the best channel in the world 😍🥰🤩

I love you
i love the grain pan hack! every time I give my horse her grain she paws and tips it over! definitely trying this one!!
I’ve had horses all my life, I’m a farmer, I make small bales...I never knew bailing twine cut through bailing time 😭
Mickey is so cute I love his blue eyes
yass
Me: hmmm there’s no baler twine near hear
*sees baler twine on a fence*
Me: yay
My friend: where do I tie up my horse?
Me: oops
#RELATABLE
Oh hell yeah
Lol 😂 so funny
#idothisallthetime
My horse rusty saw you slightly laughing and raised his top lip! He does that if anyone giggles!😂🐎 great video!
aww how cute! :)
aww :)
I think he is a little cutie
Aww
For the tyre hack, my horse picks up the bucket with his teeth and throws it at me in the feed room demanding more!🤣
😂😂 My horse chucks his feed bucket at me too !!!!
Mine does too!
Just realised 😂 if you drag the bucket it will actually rub the bottom and cause it to crack 😂 it’s happened to me so definitely always carry it!
but that depends on the bucket mine did not crack
Put it on a skateboard and pull it that way. If it's full then it's heavy enough not to slide off and it's way easier to pull, too!
Omg! Thanks so much for the hack, will definitely be using that one haha!
i fill them up halfway so it's easier to carry than fill the rest with a separate bucket
It depends on the bucket and also the distance
I would absolutely love to see a part two please!!! x
I showed that lead rope tying one to some of the people at my barn, and now everyone is doing it 😂😂🐴
Omg barney is the name of my fave pony😙
Such a cute name
I thought everyone know how to do it I have been doing it since I was 5😂
Awwwwww we love Casper and also This Esme is an amazing channel. I just love seeing the beauty of horses and ponies and engaging with a community where we all love horses and ponies.

The water hack works for a bit until the ground makes a hole...
Dappled Blue yep
I Don’t have my own horse but someday when I get one that just saved my future life!!! 😂 LOL THANKS
1:46 Esme does your hose pipe head turn so you can stop the water mine does that so you wouldn’t have to put a kink in it x.
Yes, a part 2 would be amazing!! These will help so much!!! Mickey is just too cute😍
Love you Esme! You are sooo pretty and you have the best outfits! I also love Mickey and Casper ❤️
24:36 mickey is a mood! 😂
14:35 Mickeys like GET ME OUT OF HEREEE😂
I have had horses all of my life and you have given some "hacks" that I did not know about. THANKS!!!! these are great.
Can you do a part 2 and these hacks will make everything so much easier 😊
At my barn we use something called "safety straps" they are basically old stirrup leathers that we buckle around their necks and attach it the the saddlepad to prevent the saddle from sliding back
Why didn’t you just use a breast plate?
Kìndå Ïrręłėvänt Oh idk? It's just cheaper
Cool also if you use a thing so it’s like a buckle that u put on the back and it keeps the saddle in place also that’s a really good hack
You can also use vinegar in the tail and after rinsing it out, you can use normal shampoo to get the smell out
LOVE YOU
I’ve been waiting for this video because I knew Esme would find USEFUL hacks!
I love you Esme!
Thank you soo much! I just started horse riding, and doing chores in the stables, so this is so helpful ❤️
