You're welcome, keep exploring it gives you an added reason to get out. I love new trails but feel like I've ridden pretty much everything in the north west 🤷♂
That's a good question and a good spot pal, I ride Hebden Bridge quite a bit and it's there 😅 What I should have put on the title was burnt edge which you might know? If not, tarmac road to the mast, turn off to the right where the left hand bend is with the crash barrier before two lads. Follow that down and when you get back on the main footpath, through a five bar gate, half way up the climb it's on your left. It can also be found o a 1:25 000 OS map and be accessed different ways.
Only been up to Rivi once, its local to me as i live near Chorley, got a lot of verbal abuse off two local Rambler groups .... i wasnt going mad, i gave plenty of warning and i gave them plenty of space passing them very slowly, i was polite and tried to be friendly..... however it wasn't the women in the group it was two or three older gentlemen in each group being rather aggressive with their verbal, i shrugged it off and didn't lower myself into a verbal debate, i even took a bit of a tumble negotiating some rather slippy stairs near the water gardens, only to have one older gentleman in the group shout "Pity you didn't break you F-ing neck" I don't know whether this is a result of other riders hurtling down past them previous, or its the typical Rambler attitude towards anyone younger than them (I'm actually 53 so no spring chicken) on mountain bikes. That's the only time I've been up to Rivi, it's not put me off but i do need to know where to find these gems of routes that are up there. I have been around the white coppice area a bit that was awesome and people friendlier, also Healy Knab was pretty ok too. Great video mate i will try (once i am back home in UK to get out and up there again, thanks for the video
Philip Martin you're welcome if it keeps you somewhat entertained during your time oversees. Rivi is our local go to venue as mentioned in another post I live in Hindley so must have been there 100 times over the years and can't remember any real animosity from walkers. I did a dozen Sunday big day rides during lockdown in succession riding anything and everything and again no hassle. This did teach me that a bell is a good thing to have if you are likely to experience walkers and typically during lockdown people who you passes were not familiar how to deal with a bike when it approaches (I use timber bell and had many thank you's from walkers in places I shouldn't be) which can only help to an extent build bridges. Most of the stuff we ride at Rivi are purpose made MTB tracks and not FPs so you don't really pass many walkers or we will do the FPs on an evening ride. There has recently been a few reports of trail sabotage but that's another story and don't think this will ever be prevented albeit downright dangerous. If you want any trail info, give me a shout 👍🏼 and note I'm 56 and the other guys I ride with similar ages on good old fashioned pedal bikes without motors 😆
Great adventure
Stay ride safe bro
A few I have yet to find amongst that lot. Thanks for posting

Looks like I have few trails to discover. It's pretty much my local but few of these trails I never done
Also my local, brilliant Rivi so many trails to go at. Could do at least a couple of rides and not do the same trail twice 👌
