Neither the MB HEX or GT HEX are intended to fit on a GoDevil, but some have found the GT HEX to fit to their satisfaction. The biggest issue is they don't have the counterbore on the lower unit end, so they don't fit all the way onto the GoDevil prop shaft. We are working on a GoDevil specific version that should be available soon, so stay tuned!
@@RoostMarineLLC any boat would be good just curious how the boat reacts to the power. My boat is a 1560 and most props it pulls the back end of the boat down quite far on takeoff, especially in shallow water. Making it so i cant take off and have to slowly roll into the throttle until i get in a deeper spot and boat can hop on plane
@@ducksnbucks1 Ok. I see what you mean. The excels like the one in this video have stayed very level during hole shot, but they are longer and narrower than your boat. Short and wide boats tend to be more likely to do what you’re describing. In general though, the Roost gets on plane in shallow water much faster than conventional mud props. Even if your boat keeps doing the same thing, there’s a really good chance the Roost would get you on plane without having to wait for deeper water.
Great video.
Does you re propeller fit on a Go-Devil surface drive 40 efi ?

Any GTR 40XD videos?
None of the XD specifically, but we do have several videos of an older GTR.
Can we get video from a 2nd boat watching the whole boat take off in your next video?
I’m not sure if we have video of this same boat, but I can look. Thanks for the suggestion!

HOW MANY MEN IN BOAT
One man, one lab, boat blind, misc gear. This boat is running the low altitude gear ratio at high altitude.
