Selemat Datang Murray & Toyah, as you enjoy camping by the beach so much suggest you visit Malaysia's eastcoast.. From KL you can head straight across to Kuantan to Cherating Beach then make your way further north to Trengganu... many campsites and uncrowded beaches along the way. Highly recommend 'free' campsite (Kekabu island RV park) at Marang with views of Palau Kapas and Palau Redang is a 'must do' - pristine blue water, swimming with turtles etc. If your heading further south towards Johor you can cut across to Mersing and travel up the eastcoast from there.. Many islands to visit (however rainy season due to start by end October) Enjoy your Malaysian adventure.!!
Thank you for the tips! We are heading south to Johor Baru and then driving up the east coast, slowly, we have the 90 days entry stamp, which runs out at the end of October, so we have to leave by then, at which time we will drive to Thailand. So we will have almost a month to explore the east coast 😁
This is my second time here. I really enjoy watching your camping and cooking activities. I just realized that you are vegan. It must be a challenge to dine in at just any eateries. I must say that all your dishes looked chef-kiss delicious. Can't wait to watch your next adventure in Malaysia.
Thank you 😊 we eat at vegan restaurants and vegetarian restaurants with vegan options, when we can’t find a restaurant, we cook 😁 thanks for watching 💖
Port Dickson is a convenience beach. Nothing to shout about but just a little something that is near to us locals on the west coast. In fact, the west caost do not have spectacular beaches as it lies on the Straits of Melaka with exception to some islands, namely Peneng and Langkawi which is more on open waters. No harsh winds to clean up the sands plus it is on one of the busiest waterways in the world. Pollution got the better of it. On the west coast, enjoy inland. In the centre of the Peninsular enjoy the jungles. Start again with beaches when you are on the East Coast. Anyway, no harm camping where you are.
@@adventureswithtoyahandmurrayat the end of the year its monsoon raining season🌧 at the east coast. The east coast water n beach is better especially the tropical islands like Pulau Tioman n Pulau Perhentian 🏝
There're not many people bcoz its working days I guess. If week ends or public holidays I think it's quite difficult to get a good spot unless U come early... I have not camped maybe since 20 yrs ago.... Enjoy ur vacation.
Good day mate... how wonderful to watch your video again. Btw... you can find some Coles products in Jaya Grocer supermarket across the country. Happy camping...

Great video guys. Looked like a lovely camping spot. More camp ground tours and camp prices please. Do they have powered sites? Do they sell ice etc? Almost everything in Malaysia and especially drinks come with added sugar. Just ask no sugar and you should be fine Looking forward to seeing you hit the East Coast. It's a different vibe over there but beautifully relaxed and welcoming. Safe travels
Oh, we forgot to say how much the site cost, it was $70RM per night. We will try to remember from now on! They sold ice and charcoal, no powered sites though. We are looking forward to going to the east coast, the photos look beautiful 🤩
Being vegans, you guys sure can cook it up out in the wilderness. Looks like I need to get my camping game up. Starting to get an itch. Looking forward to your next stop. Guessing it's Malacca. Hope you took the back roads to get there. Way more to see along the coastline.
oh we do have sharks, but not human biting type, infact we call it "Yu bodoh" Yu is sharks and bodoh is fools, why you may ask,coz they dont eat human which is quite contrary in Australia right.
Yes! Humans get eaten by sharks quite often in Australia 😬 so it’s natural for us to be weary of sharks, it’s good to know that we don’t have to worry about that here!

Kelapa pandan is a breed of coconut which juice has sweet pandanous taste and aroma. It's in the juice itself and no pandan flavour is added.
