Boy George and his mother actually say that they were happy he went to jail, because after he came out of jail....he has never done drugs since, and has been clean since.
Stop worship people without questions. Boy George is very talented but he has had many years of problems.
@@bigthd2044 was George REALLY every teens dream? I wasn’t around back then! I’d LOVE to hear stories. You got any?
The one time not getting a chair turn was better than getting one.
Now she would have a place in music
So true
😀😀😀😀👏🏻👏🏻
@@pepeperez2774I thought she had a place when I heard her sing George's song in the opera way. Very few girls her age have that ability. Now, with the recording, George will give Lucy the confidence she needs to break into the big time. In fact I think he should produce an EP album at the very least. Many young aspiring singers have done an EP.
She was quite nervous on the stage which was totally understandable, but at the end she opened her mouth and throat and turned it loose. It was Lucy's triumph over her nerves and I had tears in my eyes listening to her joyous tribute to the man she had loved since she was a child.
Hhh jj
I love boy George too. Fab to see him with these youngsters enjoying his music. 🤗❤️
70s and 80s best time to grow up the world was a better place
Probably wasn't, but we are nostalgic. We were young and future wss ours
I can hear the nerves in her voice, but boy, she has great potential! Amazing version of a classic track!
This girls dream literally came true I’m so happy for her I pray he kept his word
Absolutely
If Boy George says something he means it don’t worry
I just adore Boy George. He really is a super star. A true artist and I bet whatever he records with this young lady will be brilliant. I look forward to hearing it. Bravo!
She's a Queen fan. Bless her!!!!!!!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And with Boy George saying "it's so beautiful", that in itself is one awesome comment. He is one of those artists who only give compliments when they are due. So hope he and this girl can release this, this year. So hopeful!
Both Lucy and Boy George really moved me to tears. What a great moment for her!
Me too.. i grew up on his music..i did cry..
I'm starting to love Boy George again. He is an awesome person and judge!
I've loved Boy George since day #1!
He is absolutely a beautiful person inside and out! ❤

Beautiful inside and out? Not quite. Boy George was sentenced in 2009 to 15 months in jail for falsely imprisoning a male prostitute by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain.

Respect to you Boy George, what a lovely genuine gesture for the young lady.
What a great guy. Always did like his music, but seeing how he is with other people makes me like him that much more. And that young lady has a great voice. A little training and refining, and she could do wonders. Wish I had that kind of talent.

I cried instantly!
So did I .
This was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen since Susan Boyle’s first audition on BGT. Very touching. Boy George has certainly had his share of trials and tribulations but he seems like a genuine person and this video certainly pulls on the heartstrings.
80s will NEVER DIE.
I burst into tears at the end when she did. So so great.
80s baby right here 😎 culture club is awesome

@@Nightbird. 11 years ago, in a time of his life when he openly admits he was in a very dark place, he paid for his crime, does trolling when he does something good make you feel better about yourself, everyone has a past
nightbird you are a troll. Admit it and go away forever.
@Levent A George is a convicted criminal. I am not. That is not an "opinion". It is a fact. Deal with it.
@@oniebaloney Facts are not trolls. And most of us go through "dark places" in our lives without violently hurting other human beings. And he did NOT pay for his crime as he didn't do his full sentence. He also never apologized to his victim which is all his victim asked for. He is now saying he was innocent because a movie will be made about him and he is afraid of how he will be portrayed..even though there are medical pictures showing the horrible extent of physical damage he caused his victim. So he has no remorse either. If such a person had done this to someone you loved..would you still be so nonchalant about it? Of course not. But because it's a famous drag queen you don't give a damn. That means the only troll here is you my dear.
This is like the 10th time I've watched this and it still brings me to tears. Boy George's unexpected response and Lucy's initial shining joy and tears just makes me believe in miracles again. Love her family especially emotional grandma😍👍🙌

As a child of the eighties I truly feel her! I also have an Obsession since my childhood. I am obsessed with KISS since 1976. So...I am with her feelings every second! She did a great job! All the best for her ! 😘
I would’ve loved to have been an 80s teen and expected CCs peak!
Awwwwwwwwww. Me as well. Obsessed. When she realized he would record with her...literally gives me life. ♥️
I agree - his work should be an opera. Recording this song with an operatic twist is brilliant. If you watch his reaction-it took his breath away. That’s a forever moment. Congrats
Straight from an Audition to the Recording Studio. Doesn't get any better than that!👍👍😊
Loved him in the 80s love him more now. That little girl has some pipes
Boy George was sentenced in 2009 to 15 months in jail for falsely imprisoning a male prostitute by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain. His victim is STILL waiting for a public apology..but George refuses. George now claims he did nothing wrong because a movie is being made about him and he doesn't want to look bad in it..but the Judge in his case saw pictures of the injuries he inflicted on his victim which were so bad he sentenced George to prison for 15 months but he got out early after only 4 months. George has no remorse..no morals..and shouldn't be allowed to mentor anyone with his criminal record. Absolutely disgusting human being. Shame on The Voice for hiring him.
100% AWESOME what he's doing for her.
So sweet and so great Boy George is going to sing with her.
Ty Boy George, you just made this young ladies dreams come true. I grew up in thhe 80s, those were the times for music 🩷🩷🩷
