JB has been in my top 3 bull riders since Lane Frost. I cannot wait to watch his son and what he decides to do in the coming years. So glad to see JB out now before he was to crippled to be a daddy to that precious little boy❤
First bull rider I ever watched. Was flicking through channels on the TV, saw him get up on that bull, and decided to watch. JB is the man who got me interested in bull riding. I'm not half as beat up as he is, but I get it with the pushing through the injuries, because I'm the same way. But I've finally hit a point of pain where I can't do the things I want to do anymore. It's so frustrating to be feeling like that when you're not even 40 yet. I worked in jousting, not riding bulls. I know that medieval knights were considered old at 40, and it's not too much different if you work in jousting today, same as a bull rider's considered old in their 30s. Some careers just aren't meant to last long, so you treasure them while you've got the body and mind to keep going.
JB, We appreciate all your dedication and mastering of your craft… we will never forget you're 90-plus rank rides Love you JB, Samantha, and Jagger ❤️🙌🏼
The last famous one. Me and my kids and my wife are all certified American cowboys lol. They're all over the place in the west. Just not on TV. But he's damn sure the last one riding in the PBR!
JB is my favorite bowl rider and you don’t have to prove anything anymore. I want them to be retired and enjoy his family. This is the reason I started to watch bowl riding because of JB and I don’t want to see him get hurt anymore. He’s proved his self and I’m happy that he’s hanging it up, but he’s not done he’s still in the sport we just can’t let JB get killed like some of these other bull riders what store support you you’re my number one rider in the world and you got a lot to offer the young people so we want to keep you around as long as we can don’t be getting on no more bowls
I know its nowhere near the same, but somewhat similar...I started working hard labor construction at 15 and I'm 35 now. My dad always told me the same thing because he was a welder and worked construction his whole life too, and it's true. I just watched him pass away at 65 from cancer and I took care of him while on hospice. His entire body was completely shot. They said the lung cancer was probably from breathing in everything he was exposed to at work for all those years. (He also lived a hard lifestyle in other ways for years too) but whats also true, is that you have to keep moving... I can work 12+ hr days as long as I don't stop. As soon as I stop, I get too stiff/ sore and I'm done... same with my dad. He kept going until the last 4 months before he found out about the cancer and passed. They found he had a broken back in 3 places when doing scans to find the cancer and couldn't figure out how he (very reluctantly) walked into the hospital...he just said "yeah my backs been fucked for years" the look on the Drs face was priceless lol but I guess that old saying about "a body in motion stays in motion" is true...you just gotta keep on keepin on, I guess..
The reason I started watching bull riding, JB seemingly unintentionally has to be the coolest man alive Damn I wish I was a cowboy I hate the style of living in the UK
My mom endured alot! With her own injuries! Breaking 2yr olds working cattle, barrel racing! An she told me as a only child an daughter! Suck it up buttercup! No tears, you have chose the life for yourself as I did. When you are 60! An I am 59 you will wake up saddle up an move your butt forward with a smile! For you have had the most wonderful life! Now book a cruise an be waited on!! 🤠
JB don’t have to prove nothing to the fans I think you should just retire and enjoy his life. He don’t have nothing to prove to his fans anymore we know who the best bull rider is is JB don’t have to prove nothing. He’s already proved it his has been one of the best careers he’s made a lot of money. Hopefully he’s made some good investments and he can hang up the bull riding and teach little kids how to be safe on riding balls. God bless you JB you don’t have to prove anything you already proved it.
I like this dude JB. Very cool. And I respect all those guys who rodeo. That said - why on earth would anyone subject themselves to this madness?? Someone said many years ago - “Hey , let’s see if I can ride on the back of this 1800lb monster and see if it doesn’t kill me. Then the next guy said - yeah boy and let’s make a sport out of it. “. Sorry. Incomprehensible.
