Took a while for the Face Customizer to grow on me. Initially, it just made me go through more effort for less satisfactory results. Now the updates are solving that problem while giving me the level of control the system promised.
This has been so great for my Star Wars dnd campaign. I’ve made just about every humanoid species you’d see in the movies or old games. I’m just waiting for kit bashing so I can make the more unconventional aliens, droids, and custom Star Wars weapons.
I'm so glad for the face customizer. So much range, and the characters look so much more like actual people than just some cartoon. Great job to the team, thank you so much!
A few ideas that I'd like to suggest are an indicator or toggle on the decal menu as to which layer is on top, the ability to have the decal blink/flash when switching layers to assist in finding where we put certain decals, and the option to input the slider number manually like with a keyboard kinda like what you can do with colors
As with just those 3 it would make it so much less time is wasted with errors like putting the grime on the wrong layer, overwriting a active decal, and getting positions lined up for weapon amalgamations or moving things to 0
Hey! We're always working on adding more stuff, and we really like getting suggestions on the stuff people would like to see on the site. If you put those suggestions here, we'll be able to track them easier! www.heroforge.com/part-request/
I cannot manage to figure out how to create a decent looking screaming rage expression with the new Face Customizer. With the old expressions sliders, it was a simple task. Snarl to maximum to get the enraged expression started, then AAAARRRGGGGHH!!! to maximum to get the jaw drop. With the new Face Customizer, there is nothing I can figure out which gives a proper open mouth screaming rage expression. Added to that, porting into the new system, an older mini with such an extreme enraged expression, turns the expression into one of slack jawed stupidity.
I recently ordered a painted mini, the quality was not what I expected. Wasn’t even the right colors. I can paint t myself so now I’m giving premium plastic a try. Needless to say my days of hard work on my hexblade halforc, we’re a waste. Hopefully The premium plastic option will be better for me
Hey Shadowed Edge! Do you mean a color plastic mini? We don't sell painted minis (that was a temporary Kickstarter reward a few years ago), so we'd love to get some clarity so we can address your issue!
I'm sorry to hear your color-printed mini wasn't quite what you were hoping for! If you want to reach out to support@heroforge.com, they should be able to help you getting this returned/refunded.
LETS FRICKIN GO DERF

Is there a way to disable the facepad for mobile? I always accidentally move facial features when trying to turn my camera
Has anyone figured out a way to get the dogfolk to look like a pitbull?
