I looked this up because I couldn’t get a diamond Muskie for the life of me. Right in the middle of the video, I was in the middle of playing the game at the same time, got a bite, sure as heck it was a 28.27lbs Muskie. I was geeking
I got to say I thought the temp thing was hog wash but I got to apologize I tried to catch a black crappie for months today I chased the temp and got him thanks for the great videos
Darth, your temperature tip helped me catch 2 different diamonds in 3 hours! I caught another new diamond the next day. I looked back at many of my diamond screenshots and they all had the temperature in the species sweet spot! Thanks again for your helpful information. Have you done a video on diamond largemouth? I can't catch one this time through the game since the 1.57 patch.
I caught my diamond Muskie in the #4 spot on the discord map. Used a size 2 or size 3 spoon to get it. I haven't had much luck using the swimbaits for either Muskie or Pike. I use size 3 and size 2 jerkbaits. Size 3 will get you frequent bites mostly silvers with a slight chance of getting golds. Size 2 gets a lot less bites but only golds.
Just caught my very first diamond muskie about 30 mins ago thanks to this vid, 29.21 lbs 4ft 11 inches! You're totally correct about the temperatures I think btw. Thanks! You've got a new subscriber!
You can catch diamond Muskie in the river to the left of Banooks, where the 3 meet. You can also catch diamond pike pretty much anywheres in Banook lake.
Considering this title is on PC why not have someone who mods or is familiar with digging into game code actually verify that temperature is an essential game mechanic to diamond probability. Requiring you to catch a fish to actually access temperature after the game being out for a year & that being a determining factor for fish size; if true, seems like an incredibly poor oversight by the devs in relaying that mechanic.
I disagree. Having to catch a fish due to the water temperatures changing throughout the day keeps us FISHING. Makes us move around and adds to the thrill of the hunt or in this case fish. Plus, I’ll never use mods, codes, or cheats.
went fishing with my dad and my kid this weekend and we got skunked with these techniques
It wasn't a diamond muskie, but I caught my first diamond burbot by the weather station
Very helpful thanks for putting in the time to put it together
Another great video Darth gz on the diamond trout's
Congratulations on that diamond! I still need that one too! Thanks for the great video and information!

Nice congrats
Can you do a tutorial on your reeling technique as I am struggling to master it specifically the small pumps instead of the full pumps
Speaking on the subject of weather, I wonder if they'll add a cycle of rain at some point.
Could

dude l love your videos, keep it up
@@a_hunnid4077 thanks
I've caught most (4/5) of my Dimond tigers float fishing with a size 3 hook and minnow. They were all caught at your sweet spot.
How deep was your line in the water I’m still trying to get one.
To be clear the temperature is of the water not the air correct?
Correct
Congrats! My Christmas diamond was atlantic salmon and another brookie
Congratulations on knocking that one out
I've caught Gold muskie and Pike on a size 2 popper at Spot 1
Can you match temperature to the time of day? \per species. Maybe ask your community to help put together a spread sheet?
I still have the trophy pic of me and the muskie. Is that what you want?
Not me. Message Wilson in the angler discord and report the new diamond location and he will update it for the community
@@darthslone1630 I just used the same location that's in the GRR diamond location map for the lake at Ruby River.
@@darthslone1630 In the EW maps in the google docs.
I’m still toying with getting this game on ps5 in your opinion is it worth it
I streamed the hunter for three years and haven’t touched it in 3 months so yes!!!!
Does depth affect temps?
The difference in the color of the water does. Darker green is deeper and cooler
I caught a 💎 29lbs. 13oz. giant muskie on a 4 size popper same spot in the tight end waterfall my favorite spot I love fishing.

19:01 is spot 5 legit? Because I fished that pond for over 700 catfish with size 3 minnows ( before bottom fishing) and never got any muskies there.
It is reported in the discord. I’ve never done any good there
The only spot on GRR to catch a diamond pike from

I have 11 diamonds from the river but can't seem to catch any anywhere else thanks for the reply
Tight end at the base of the waterfall is great spot for diamond pike/muskie
Thanks
