Hay Darth, thank you for your videos. They are a big help. Never got a diamond lake trout before. After watching this, I went to the spot and got 2 diamonds in a row after 3 casts. You are the best. Keep up the videos.
I've got a sick sturgeon spot. You can actually see them from up high and it's REALLY easy to see where the gold/diamond are when they spawn. Catch them in the morning.
my most favorite easy catch diamond in golden ridge i was fishing for tiger muskie, walleye, white crappie, black crappie, and largemouth bass i love catching huge fish so far i having so much fun on a bloodworm, minnow, leeches for crappie and walleye, size 5 popper and size 4 popper for largemouth and tiger musky.
Agree on perch, pike and lake trout. It took me forever to get a white crappie, like 400+. It is funny about the perch though, I've caught around a dozen total diamonds, but never once set out to target them. Personally would have burbot on there instead of the white crappie. Pretty easy for me to get them at the dam, probably have close to a dozen of them just from there.
Shovelnose Sturgeon was the easiest for me. I was going for the diamond walleye in the river north of the saw mill and on two occasions I walked past that bridge to find a giant sturgeon close to the bank. A close second would be the Burbot. I was going for the diamond walleye again this time east of the ghost town off the northern tip of that small island in the lake. I got back-to-back diamonds there. I found the diamond green sunfish to be fairly easy too, went to that pond that has only green sunfish and perch and got it within 15 minutes.
@@kyth3slyguy620 I believe it's the pond north of where the gold green sunfish challenge was. If you go to the fish icon to that pond it should say only yellow perch and green sunfish are in there. There should be a red path that leads to it, too. I used size 9 hook with a tube for bait, jigging on 1 or 2 speed, temperature was 56.3F.
I got 3 diamonds last night. I got a bluegill in the middle, far right lake. Then 2 diamond catfish in the lake on top of the hill by the starter place
I spent well over 7 hours fishing for pike next to the bridge behind lumber mill, caught 2 golds and no dimes, switched to the location from this vid and on the 10th cast got my first ever dime
I was told that in order to increase the chanced of catching a gold or diomand, you should fish out the bronze and silvers first and they will be replaced with higher levels. Is this true?
My personal top five is as follows. 5. Small mouth bass 4. Largemouth bass 3. Sauger 2. White Crappie 1. Rainbow Trout Honorable Mentions 3. Freshwater Drum 2. Brook Trout 1. Cutthroat Trout
@darthslone1630 I saw on the White Crappie that you used a net to get that fish. How did you get that. I also want to say thanks for these great videos. I am glad that I found your channel.
