For the $200,000 question - the winner is going to play for 80,000. The loser is going to be out of the game.
For the $500,000 question - the winner is going to play for 300,000. The loser is going to be out of the game.
That is the first time ever for this episode to have new captains on the $200,000 and $500,000 questions - that happens twice in one episode.
First, it was Mark who wants to take over David as the captain for the $200,000 question and then it was AnneMarie who wants to take over Mark for the $500,000 question.
Everybody has $40,000 except for Mark who has $80,000 plus the $10,000 that he won from the terminator.

Gazpacho from Chowder, all the characters in that show are named after soup.
Vichyssoise from Drake and Josh. The one where Josh breaks his foot and pretends to be a doctor to get Drake out of trouble. He calls himself Dr. Vichyssoise and when Drake asks him where he got the name, he says "It's a soup"

That freebie was wasted.
The soup 🍲 question 🙋♂️ was really easy, Tabouli is a salad 🥗 & Tiramisu is a dessert 🍮.
As a person of Middle Eastern heritage, I've had tabouli since I was a kid but I can understand people not knowing what that is.
When we last saw Annemarie, she was beating the whammy senseless and took from him and Tammy Whammette $62,708.

Annemarie was on the final season of Press Your Luck back in 1986. And like this user said in his comment, she won $62,708. And that was over the course of three days! She retired as champ on the third day as she went over the show’s $50,000 limit!
This includes over $27,000 she won in one day with 9 spins passed to her at once!
We all wondered what became of her after the show and we see it here with her being an Attorney. Annemarie likely used some of that money she won on PYL to go to law school! ❤️

Here's what I think happened with that: At the time they taped this episode, Fox originally planned to air the Losers episode on Friday the 25th like they always air their episodes on Fridays. But the network's higher-ups made the decision to pre-empt Greed in favor of World's Wildest Police Videos (think it was the season finale at the time) airing two episodes that night so they reshot that outro with Chuck saying the Losers episode would air on the 29th instead before it came time to air this episode.

The $500,000 question on profession wasn't that hard - it was quite easy to identify policemen and judges as the two wrong answers. While these professions have a lot of responsibility, there is a social ill in America that compromises their honesty and ethics, namely racism against blacks. There have been many incidents of innocent blacks getting arrested or even convicted!
Yeah, can't believe the freebie eliminated daycare providers. Would have been a much tougher decision between that or teachers.
Also there has been a history of Black people falling victim to police brutality and law enforcement using excessive force on Blacks so policemen is easily an incorrect answer on that question.
@@artvandelay7687Actually, just my opinion but daycare providers was easy to distinguish as a wrong answer. I've seen my fair share of news stories of daycare workers abusing children or straight up being mean to them.

Because going for $1 million was too much risk with too low of a chance of success, especially with no safety net like on Super Greed, and actually Greed "failed" because a game-show-hating Fox president had a cancelled.
