Haha I like how most of these things I've learned so far (exculding bareback, cup fist and cat stance) is something I already know and you still teach it like I've been teached with as much detail A's my trainers. Respect to you. I'm looking forward to learning and (hopefully) mastering this. :)

When he said "it's just a bunch of crap" I knew he was someone who was teaching properly. The amount of bad practices my 34th gen Shaolin sifu got rid of in just 1 year of training from my previous 15 years of teachers was outstanding, and this guy's got the same idea.

I used to do punching drills holding a string with both hands and keeping it straight, it helps a lot...

Drunken kung fu is great for bar fights because everyone believes it. Also if you blink as if your vision is blurry and you are trying to fix it really ads to the weakness/ vulnerability effect.

I like the way you put things. "You don't fight people in a horse stance this way. They'll kick you in the balls."

I study shotokan but I need to learn this style. It fits my lifestyle and have always wanted to learn drunken style. I watched true legend and seen beggar su incorporate wu shu with drunken style. Please send me info

Sensei Ripski do you know of any places near Portland oregon that teach this? I'm on your website but finding it difficult to train without someone there to give advice and help strengthen foundations.

Why does kung fu adopt the ball/moon/or a big jar in drunken fist- holding feature? What is the purpose of it?

3 levels, at least 3 different applications . think joint control while striking, joint control & knocking . Be creative while remaining practical . There is seldom one direct answer in good Kung Fu, one of the reasons so many don't understand Authentic Chinese Kung Fu.

1:12...I'm ashamed to say...I've been there...but no longer...that's why I'm watching you, shifu:); 2:05 not using the arms for balance!!! Did that too:); 2:46...there now (must evolve forward...note to self); 5:53: exactly...and the method I've evolved into (sorry if i talk too much) is use Big Arm Circle to ward, footwork to surround, and then let go of the static energy generated from contact both with opponent and my own rhythm....is that drunken or faux drunken? I don't know....
