You know what makes this show really great and stand out from other sports debate shows? They’re not afraid to AGREE with each other and have fun. Now that may sound silly, but with other shows it is glaringly obvious that one debater doesn’t truly believe what they’re saying and is just saying it to be contrary to the other guy (see Skip Bayless’s entire career) Our guys laugh, have a good time, and clearly enjoy each others company. Best sports show on tv

I think that was with the thought that they would retain R Williams. I think Boston could have kept him if they pushed hard enough but they were smart and just got the deal done. I have Boston as slight favorites bc I think they can roll out the best defensive 5 in the league without compromising anything on offense.
Jrue, Brogdon, JB, JT, Porzingis…. Switch everything and still have a Tim protector that can stretch the floor on offense? Jrue and Brogdon might be the 2 best POA defenders in the league as well. Like Boston is actually ridiculous on paper from a talent AND chemistry perspective… and I’m a Lakers fan.

The Celtics aren’t a small team. They’re not Milwaukee big but their starting 5 is not a small unit with Jrue,Brown,Tatum,Porzingas, White/Horford…the match up is gonna be great if they match up in the playoffs
Yes but remember they were just comparing those two teams. Boston Lost Grant and Williams III who were 2 out of the 3 players they relied on heavily to stop just Giannis , Horford is the only one left , he is the best of the three but as pointed out he is also 37 years old and It's going to be harder then ever now on him. Porzingas is the question mark , I have not watched him play enough , I say that because he is going to be needed to help defend Giannis and again I just do not know if his size alone will be enough.

Undisputed is really good...when they talk football. Basketball they are completely lost. Keyshawn's bball knowledge is lacking and they take Irvin off during those segments so it's just Skip, who has great analysis but he needs someone he can debate with. If only Tim Legler worked for Fox Sports..

Pistons Celtics late 80s. The transition era from the Celtics to the Pistons, that was when two even teams were battling it for the Conference. Lakers-Spurs between 99-04 is also up there. There were certain years where one team was much better than the other but it was those two than everybody else. Dallas was amazing too but those other 2 were so good that Dallas were not seen on their level.
99, Spurs were way ahead of everybody, the Lakers were not quite there yet. Spurs sweep them.
2000 Spurs take a back seat for a year and lose in the first round. Utah is still an elite team too that year. And the Blazers have a very deep defensive roster.
01 is the year where they’re seen on the same level. Don’t let the Conference Finals sweep fool you. Everybody looked into that matchup as the NBA Finals and everybody thought it would be a great series but the Lakers dominated. The view was still those 2 over everybody, and not just the West but in the whole league.
02 is similar. Kings were the 1 seed but everybody thought one of those two would win it all. Lakers beat them in 5.
Now in 2003, at the start of the year, the Spurs were seen as playoff chokers and a team that just can’t beat LA. The Lakers this year had a weak regular season compared to the years before. The Spurs had an amazing year with 60 wins and Duncan played out of his mind to win MVP. And with the way Duncan looked, around the middle of the season, everybody thought the Spurs were finally as good as the Lakers and that the Lakers weren’t as dominant as before despite Shaq and Kobe still being in their primes and this was probably the best version of Kobe we ever saw playing with Shaq. The 2nd round matchup was seen as the Finals and Duncan was phenomenal and it was an amazing series. Spurs pulled it out.
04, both teams are still at the top but people question whether KG is better than those guys. Spurs Lakers play in the 2nd round and the Lakers win in 6. The Timberwolves don’t prove to be in that level as the Lakers beat them.
Some series make it seem like it wasn’t close like 1999 and 2001 series but it was always the debate for not only the best team in the Conference but in the league

Cavs are going to need serious improvement at the 3 because the Knicks exposed them at that position. Also, Spyder and Garland are going to have to get the rest of the guys involved in the offense. Too many times in that Knick series one or both of them started to play hero ball at the wrong time and they just couldn't score. It didn't help that Jalen Brunson just bodied both of them, but that ended up being the difference in the end.

I'm not sure Dame is better than Buckets?? Jimmy led his undermanned Heat team to championship twice and BALLED OUT multiple times. JB is also a far better defender.
Dame is a better scorer and he hasn't played with an All-Star Big since 2015 and he's never played with a coach or supporting cast as competent as who the Heat organization employ. JB's clearly a superior defender, but he's made fewer All-NBA teams (5) than Dame (7). Dame's the only one of the two to have made a First Team.

I completely disagree, AD is Lebrons son right now. AD needs to be the face of the team, do all the media, give the speeches, take the full responsibility of the team. Lebron makes life way too easy for him right now. We need a fully engaged and locked in AD.

Tell your buddy Lebron and the coach that the ball needs to go through AD first and foremost and for Lebron to stop jacking up brick three's. That will help. It's amazing to me how the media says Lebron has such a great basketball mind yet he's not screaming for AD to get down low five feet from the basket instead of 15-20 feet and to make AD the #1 scoring option. He says he wants to pass the torch but his actions say something different. Let's see if his ego can take a step back this year.

Porzingis isn’t hurt all the time, he played more games last season than Giannis actually. He would of played more games if they didn’t bench him to tank. He has injury history but he is young and last year was the best and healthiest year of his career so yeah

A lot of AD problems are the guards and the couching staff they have to run the offense through him , to many times I see the guards are Bron taking all the shots every time they are on offense, AD has to touch the ball every time down and that doesn’t mean he has to take the shot but be involved on the offense
Bingo. But that would mean Lebron has to concede that AD is the #1 option and up till now he's been unwilling to do that. He should be telling everyone on LA to feed AD the ball and he can either take it to the rack or dish it. Basic. LBJ is too prideful. He wants AD to carry the team but for himself to get all the credit. His plan has been to ride AD all the way to the Finals and then use all his reserve energy from not playing defense to win the FMVP, that way when you look back in history it will seem like he was the best player on the team even though AD was really the one that got them there. Lebron thinks he's slick but he ain't. And the coach is too much of a pu**y to do his job and force the team to go through AD.
The hard truth is the Lakers would be a better team without Lebron. Sure he averaged 30PPG but what fanboys won't bring up is his atrocious 3PT shooting, defense, and turnovers. Those three things alone killed the Lakers last year but nobody wants to talk about that. For every positive thing he does he has a negative to counter it. He can get boards and points but he will be lazy on D, turn it over, and shoot a horrific % from three but he'll keep jacking it up. Tell me why he wasn't screaming at AD to get lower in the post instead of shooting 15-20 foot J's. It's because he wants AD to miss, but also score just enough so they win, and Lebron will play hard the last couple minutes because he knows that's all ESPN will show for highlights and everyone will think he's great.
