8:21 haha the other commentator isn’t very neutral here: “Oh noo…”
That´s because she isn´t actually a commentator, but a fellow Nigerian table tennis player. We can hear it better on the full match. She even joked about that saying that she was 70% unbiased 😅
@@felipewozniak who is she?
Great play by Robles in the rallies. He really has excellent touch.
My opinion about Aruna Quadri
Strenghts:
1 Forehand topspin
2 Several serves
3 Big push and punch
Weaknesses
1 Footwork: he doesn't move properly well from left to right. He kinda jumps and loses balance so, the ball will go to the net or goes off the table
2 Backhand opening: when someone pushes long to Aruna's backhand and if he doesn't do a pivot, he opens always to his opponent backhand side.
3 Bad use off his punch: most of the times, when Aruna punches, he is far away from the table and he streches. What happens? The ball goes off the table.
4 "Knowing" when to do a pivot: most of the times he pivots, he has to move 2 or 3 times. What happens most of the times is that he only moves 1 time or 2 if he needs to move 2 or 3. What does he? He puts his back backwards and misses the table. What I advise him to do is to do a pivot. If he sees that the ball is not well positioned, he should use a block when the opponent is attacking his left side. Regarding also the pivot, but this time when he is opening up and sees that the ball is not well positioned, he should cut it, like he did some times against Ovidiu Ionescu!
5 Bad use off serves: he should serve more times downspin. Álvaro Robles struggled a lot when Aruna served backspin. Regarding the shovel serve, he serves most of the times with only sidespin. What happens many times is that the opponents are already expecting it and attack. He should vary the spin, sometimes serving with sidespin and others with downspin! Regarding the backhand serve, I do not know why he barely uses it. From what I have seen, most of the times Aruna serves backhand, he wins the point. It is a pity that he doesn't use this serve more!
I'm also always surprised how he get's so much power out of his forehand with minimal use of the lower body. This also causes his stroke to be much too long, but somehow most of the time he recovers in time for the next stroke.
you look at his age, he is not a young Chinese boy.
I'm guessing this is fanzhending who wrote all this
Je zo zijn coach moeten zijn
@@isaacoladele4929 why do you say that?
Niesamowita dramaturgia tego meczu pełnego zwrotów akcji😮😱👍
Gratulacje Alvaro👍🏓
Great game, nice comeback from Robles.
I can imagine Adam holding his laugh when she said " what happened?"
Bravo for Alvaro Robles to beat a very strong African Lion
Why Robles is sucked his thumb? After that he shakehanded it hand with Aruna...😮
But if he lost, he mayby tried to do that with finger of Aruna?
Maybe his wife is pregnant, many footballers celebrate like this
As a fellow Nigerian. Aruna losing to that Spaniard when he’s 2-0 up and the much higher ranked player is not good at all. Aruna cud do with losing some weight. But he’s carried African table tennis on his shoulder’s for 10+ yrs. So I’ll always support him bcoz of that
Ranking means nothing in this sport. Being up 2-0 isn't big either what happened to Quadri can happen to any top player.
@@reinaldopessoa2603you don't get the point bro
@@mobolajioluwole4746 then explain it to me
I have watched Aruna play and he has a lot of faults and he will a game now and again against some better players however he will not consistently do so . He goes too mush for strength for his forearm shots give away accuracy for speed . This desire for power makes him less able to respond to returns because the over rotation throws him off balance and unprepared often times for this return this also causes him to miss some easy shots too often It probably too late to coach these disadvantages out of his game .
7:20 what a play he made!
The woman commentator is the most annoying one ive heard in years
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

felicidades alvaro!🎉🎉
What happened with Aruna after the second game? He just lost his confidence 😯 What a pity
That's why I don't like celebrating in the middle of the match.
7:22 😮😮 no se que me impresionó más si el punto o el grito😂😂😊😊
The new commentator did not bring any new information to the table. Only weird screams and being very biased. Sure you can have a favorite, but it’s not okay to sound so disappointed/react negatively when Robles wins. Yes Aruna lost and I get it she was rooting for him, but at least try to react positively because to someone else this is a victory.

she is clearly an african woman/player and not a true commentator... listen more and talk less man!
what does this gesture mean of Robles
Dedicating the win to his newborn i believe
What happened??? Was this real?
Great match but this female commentator was annoying. We don't need any extra drama like "Oh nooooooooooo" in 8:21
Damn......
Venga a levantar España cullionz 🤪
If he lost against a Chinese at any round i won't say shit but a Spanish player that you have more experience than and more ability than he blew the game.😢😢 This is very disappointing
Why the terrible angle again? Its unwatchable.
I don´t understand the issue with this angle. I think it is good
Bobrow should really stop calling Quadri "The king of africa". Would he call someone from the US "The king of america"? Obviously not. This is like some racist shit, that africa is some kingdom with many people that are the same and they have a king. Have some respect and give him a nickname you would use for anyone else.
I kinda understand what you mean. But I mean they call Ma Long the Dictator. If you think about it. That really isn’t any better, worse if you will. With king he just means he’s on top of the African table tennis world, not implying Africa is some kind of kingdom that all people get ruled by him, as well as he doesn’t mean Ma Long is an actual dictator but rather he dictates the pace of the match and makes other players play his game. I’m pretty sure he does not have any racist meaning behind it :)
@@oblarski2478 I could see him calling an american player "The Dictator" (as someone that dictates the pace of the game and rules ALL other players), but never "King of America". That just sounds awkward.
Bro literally Quadri Aruna is the most loved player by the communnity stop saying that anything said to black people is racist
@@robertberneda6538 It's not directly racist. I'm sure Bobrow is not racist and that he loves Quadri, it's just not a good nickname, I don't think he's aware of it.
You're overthinking this.
