There was another song in welcome and praise of George IV right ahead of Tagore’s presentation. The British journalists mixed both up and in order to show superiority wrote in the papers- Tagore wrote the song in praise of George IV. The anthem is actually an excerpt from his Brahmo song (The Tagores followed the Brahmo samaj), I really recommend you read the translation. It still gives me goosebumps,
Entire "jana gana mana " was not taken as national anthem ,,, if you see the Entire song Bharat vagya bidhata was called as "tumi mata" ( you mother ) ie., divine femnine energy was addressed as Bharat vagya bidhata ,,,, point to be noted ,,, George was not a mother,, and what British propaganda media did at that time that they said song Says about George's mother but that's false as Rabindranath never wrote "tomar mata" ( tumhare mata or your mother ) ,, he wrote "tumi mata" to Bharat Vagya Bidhata,,,, Check it yourself once ,,,, Another interesting point made by Rabindranath Thakur himself,, that he wrote "yug yug dhabito jatri " ,, ( yugon yugon se dhabit yatri---) yugon se gerorge or his mother didn't exist

Rabindranath Tagore did dedicate the English translation of "Jana Gana Mana" to Emperor George V. In 1919, Tagore translated the original Bengali song into English and titled it "The Morning Song of India." He dedicated this English version to King George V, the Emperor of India at the time, as a gesture of loyalty. Tagore's dedication was an expression of his hopes for India's progress and a desire for understanding and goodwill between the Indian people and the British Empire. It's important to note that the dedication to George V was specific to the English translation of the song, and the original Bengali version remains the official national anthem of India. The Bengali version of "Jana Gana Mana" was adopted as the national anthem of India in 1950 when the country became a republic.
Search full version of national anthem and see it's translation too, no one praises some dude like a mother. The national anthem was specifically made for India
Rabindra Naath Taakur jii had made this song on protest against dividing Bengal in tow pieces as West and east Bengal by River through BangoBhongo . He was against BangoBhongo strictly .
More then sufficient reason to believe Jana gana is a song praising someone and the date of inception too is December 1911 few days to George 5th Calcutta visit ,

5. The final prose ends with hope and aspirations of awakening a sleeping India and bows their head to feet of the almighty or leader, the RULER OF RULERS (Rajeshwar), the Almighty.
I would recommend you read the entire Brahmo composition translation or listen to the song Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata (from Rajkahini).
@@sassy_llama5909 I have read the entire composition already, but I am only talking about the first paragraph, which was adopted as national anthem of India. Now you read the composition adapted by Subhash Chandra Bose, and tell me why it is not better than this one?
@@Nitesh22021990 “What weighed in favour of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ is that it had already been set to a martial tune by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who had used a Hindustani version of Tagore’s song, ‘Subh Sukh Chain’ as the Anthem of his Provisional Government and INA.” This is from an article in The Pioneer.
So the difference is one is in Hindustani (Hindi) and the other in Sadhu Bangla (Bangla with Sanskrit).

Actually first option is true.
Even if you analyse the meaning of the anthem, it clearly shows that it is appraising & applauding someone.
Bro when was the national anthem written? And when was the king goerge V crowned? If people just get to know this they will realize what's the truth.
Both are 1911^
@@sm-ts5vq Hey Brother You need to dig little bit more in history.
●The Lines of India's national anthem are taken from Rabindranath Tagore's song "Bharato Bhagya Bidhataa"
●The Original Song was written in Bengali and the full song has 5 stanzas.
The full song was first published in 1905 in Tatvabhumi Patrika.
●As Rabindranath was one of famous poet and singers of that era, the British government ordered him to prepare something applauding for grnad welcome of King George V to India.
●When King George finally visited in India along with queen Marry on December 7th 1911. Rabindranath compsed his original "Bharat Bhagyo Bidhata" to English & Hindi version as well .
●) in 27 December 1911 The Indian National Congress held A big session in Calcutta,Where King George V was chief guest.
The song was first sung publicly on that day by Mr. Rabindranath Tagore himself as an applaud to King.
●)The Visit of King George V and queen Marry was a 5 week tour.(From December 1911 to January 1912)
●)On 24 January 1950(Before India's first republic day of 26th January 1950). The first stanza of Tagore's "Bharato Bhagyo Bidhata's Hindi version was officially declared as The national anthem of India by the constituency assembly of India(Governed by Indian National Congress).

She is wrong in her first claim. RN Tagore wrote for George fifth, he may have tried to clarify later on but this does not rebut the fact that it was not written for George.
Nope the entire national anthem was from the orignal extract Tagore writen and if you read it is addressed to mother India not some white guy

can you elaborate the 1st option fully , as he himself sang it for george4
There was another song in welcome and praise of George IV right ahead of Tagore’s presentation. The British journalists mixed both up and in order to show superiority wrote in the papers- Tagore wrote the song in praise of George IV.
The anthem is actually an excerpt from his Brahmo song (The Tagores followed the Brahmo samaj), I really recommend you read the translation. It still gives me goosebumps,
@@sassy_llama5909 Thankyou so much for the info
Entire "jana gana mana " was not taken as national anthem ,,, if you see the Entire song Bharat vagya bidhata was called as "tumi mata" ( you mother ) ie., divine femnine energy was addressed as Bharat vagya bidhata ,,,, point to be noted ,,, George was not a mother,, and what British propaganda media did at that time that they said song Says about George's mother but that's false as Rabindranath never wrote "tomar mata" ( tumhare mata or your mother ) ,, he wrote "tumi mata" to Bharat Vagya Bidhata,,,,
Check it yourself once ,,,,
Another interesting point made by Rabindranath Thakur himself,, that he wrote "yug yug dhabito jatri " ,, ( yugon yugon se dhabit yatri---) yugon se gerorge or his mother didn't exist
