Switching to your pistol is faster than reloading. But reloading carries the added benefit of clobbering your opponent with the magazine, so it all evens out.
Imagine you're a suspect, peeking a corner to try and cooperate with the officers requests just to see a P90 magazine hurled right at your forehead lmao
I’m surprised with how accurate the developers were with the taser, both in looks and function. I carry the exact same taser for duty, and it’s 100% accurate down to what the screen displays when I turn mine on. Massive props for the attention to detail
After a while this turns into a competition to see what mag gets bounced the furthest - P90 wins hands down. Dude took running out of ammo very personally
Very realistic reload animations! One small nitpick that I do have regarding the M1911 models, though not a reload, is how when the weapon is first drawn, the thumb cocks the hammer. While not necessary unrealistic, it's strongly not recommended to manually lower the hammer with a round in the chamber on a M1911 because if your thumb slips, it will in all probability cause an accidental discharge. Rather, load, rack the slide to put a round in the chamber, then flip safety switch on until ready to actually fire.
Everything is so well animated and realistic but like there must be something baked into the physics they’re using that causes mags to accelerate to the speed of light when dropping out of the mag wells. Like look how many mags on on the far side of the room by the end
Its funny to see how so many weapons dont have many noticeble visual diferences between one another but thats just how they are IRL. Its also why we have more of the same lineups for most shooting games because those are the more noticebly diferent weapons.
Handgun animations could use some work, you can clearly the see thumb isn't touching the button properly. For the USP, you don't use your thumb to actuate the release you use your trigger finger.
