Remember 10 or more episodes ago, when Aavak spent all that time making a stone separator wall in the pasture, for the purpose of making a chicken coop, in order to alleviate his lack of animal sleeping spot issue in the barn?

I love all the details this game has! The animals actually sit and lay down, it's not just a rotated image. Also the sounds! The corvids flapping and caws, the wolves singing to the moon, and all the clatter from the work being done. It really does a fantastic job of immersing you into the setting!
Ah, just what I needed. A cuppa and the first fire of the cold season together with some Aavakian Clanfolk.

I don't know about an inn where you have privacy to sleep, but have to take your bath in the common room where strangers mill about ( not even screening ), I'm sure I would prefer it the other way around.
Just fyi, the right middle room of the inn technically has space for a window on the side, if you want to place one.
It would be looking directly on the entrance of the pasture.

Would it be possible to show us the beauty overlay for the next episode, Aavak? You always prettify the places you build but I wanna see what that translates to in the eyes of the people in the area.

Oh I don't need to think about it, I know _exactly_ why it's a hand and not an axe for a chicken. One of those random bits of...trivia...that I just picked up at some point. Not really sure where.
Fun story, we had chickens when I was a kid and when they stopped laying and it was time to go, my city-boy dad suggested we call a vet to put them down because he was too squeamish to kill them. Mum was made of sterner stuff (raised hunting and farming) but had never had to kill chooks so did a bit of research. Got to the bit about breaking necks and thought, yup, can do that. Then the final line; take care not to twist /pull too hard or the heads can come right off. Mum decided the axe might be messier, but better than chicken brains in hand 🤣

Thinking you could mine into the hill to the right of your merchant visitor center to carve out a new Inn, already has a hole in it so why not I guess.

41:00: Yeah, it's kind of a sad state where a perfect rating isn't just expected, it's required.
Always thought that a she-cat was a female cat and that a queen was a nursing female, unless your cat is named Grudge in which case they are always a queen!

Queen is the term for an unaltered female cat that has kittens; much like bitch is reserved for an unaltered female dog.
Oh, dear... I used to sell all my Senior Cats and Dogs, to avoid having to make Pet Graves for them. This change means that I'm gonna have to start butchering and smoking them, and that feels *really* bad. 😢
