When’s a good time to put landing gear while looping
I can tell you a bad time. Never do it a little after passing, it leads to you going too far and being an easy hit after. The best time to take it out is a little bit BEFORE they pass, then changing direction to cut them off after the overshoot you.
Don’t take your landing gears out until after you merge though
