Irelands prodigal son! Our greatest, when i was living in Australia i took great pleasure in spreading the voice of Luke to many a different person from all over the world. Im only 27 and can honestly say I've learnt a lot about life from luke's songs.
A few years ago I contacted the Dublin City Office to see if there was some statue or other monument planned to honor Luke that I could contribute to. They said nothing they were aware of. Obviously you have some good news on this subject. Please share any information you have. Thanks from the USA.

Luke Kelly was exceptional. Just love him. When I listen to him singing I always feel really poignant and sad. His voice was hauntingly beautiful.
