put the astronauts in space theme on the bed, i like that, that drawing was dope and looked good with the other 2 items, the bed will really set it off, id even go as far to get the sheets sewed with the same theme
Are there advantages to building it on a wooden deck rather than a concreate slab? Maintenance, longevity, look? curious about the thought process there. Thanks for the great content!
I would make my own liner, it would cost a fraction of the $14 per ft2 they are asking. You can buy a lot of electricity for 18k but its not a good investment if most of it goes into cooling the great outdoors :)
That’s awesome! I think you mentioned building a second dome? Make it luxurious for the ladies who want a girls trip. Maybe a bathtub? Obviously a hot tub would be incredible & a HUGE draw but a gorgeous free-standing tub with some sort of view where you can look up at the sky/stars is enough for me to book it for just myself so no one can bug me while I relax. And a big fluffy bed with lots if pillows and blankets.

I think I'm going to do a different structure to keep things unique on the property. Great insight though! My gf told me plan it for girls trips and keep that in mind so you are both on the same path lol
That includes utility and road infrastructure as well, but yes. More than that actually by now. If this was off grid, you could get it done for about 30-40k.

What do you think about using spray foam insulation? Cheaper than the insulation kit from PD.
