aaaaaaaaaaaaa The nostalgia!! Thanks to the new anime I've been re-watching some of the old things from Higurashi that was my second anime. I remember I was crazy about this song although the movie was shit.
You're gonna hate my opinion, but I personally think the movies aren't that bad, when you look at them as separate things from the anime. Yes, the anime was a hundred times better, in every way, but it being a real-life movie, it was okay.
The hierarchy goes like this: 1. VN 2. Manga 3. Anime 4. Movies That being said, I personally really enjoyed parts of the movies, even if some parts were lame.
musiclover0 I love the way you think, yes if you don't compare them to the anime they aren't that bad a movie series. people are so wound up complaining that it isn't like the anime of course they aren't they are a live adaption not an identical to the anime if it were there would probably be like 5 movies in itself or close to 8 to get it all in there and cut some scenes out. yet these are the people that never played the 8 games that the anime was based on. So shame on those people who have not played the games before the anime, I myself have not played all the games but still love it.

Higurashi in itself is one of my favorites, so I love it all. The manga, the anime, the live action, the characters. All so perfect to me.
