Ah higurashi, one of the best anime series of all times and one of my personal favourite animes. Always luv nd enjoy rewatching all higurashi's seasons and ova's, gives me excited chills everytime. Plus im a big fan of Eiko, the singer who sang most of the OP songs.
I played this song during my Japanese 2 class in college and everyone in the class went silent. Keep in mind, every student has to choose a song sung in Japanese eventually and everyone always puts very popular songs or anime openings everyone knows so when it was my turn, I picked this one just to see people's reactions and it was funny
I don't know how, but after seeing most of this anime, it made me feel like friendship is always the best part of life, those guys are always there for each other, even for surviving.
