Cleveland Angels '12 @ Extreme Sampson (2024.07.14)

In a tough battle for the July Sizzler Championship, Cleveland Angels '12 fell short against Xtreme Sampson with a final score of 9-0. The game started off with both teams holding their ground in the first inning, but Xtreme Sampson broke through in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs. Despite some solid hits from Emma and Mila, Cleveland Angels '12 couldn't find their way onto the scoreboard.
Xtreme Sampson continued to dominate in the second inning, adding two more runs to their lead. Cleveland Angels '12 showed determination on defense with Reagan pitching an impressive strikeout and some key fielding plays. In the third inning, Mila and Lillie managed to get on base for Cleveland Angels '12 but were unable to convert those opportunities into runs.
Offensively, Emma had a standout performance going 1-for-1 with a single while Mila also contributed with a single of her own. Shelby showed patience at the plate and earned herself a walk. On defense, Reagan showcased her skills with an important strikeout.
Although it wasn't the outcome they hoped for, Cleveland Angels '12 displayed resilience throughout the game. They can be proud of their efforts as they continue to grow and develop as a team under coaches Aaron Winfree and Seth Duntz's guidance.
