Join me on an exciting whirlwind adventure in Vietnam! 🛫✨
It all started with a thrilling auto ride to the railway station, followed by a train journey to Ghatkopar, then an auto ride to Mumbai's T2 airport. The airport was buzzing with activity as evening flights were taking off and landing - and as always, immigration and security were packed! After grabbing a quick bite at Asia Seven (highly recommended!) and enjoying some coffee at McDonald's, we finally boarded our night flight to Vietnam. 🌙✈️
Though it was a short 24-hour stopover in Vietnam, I was determined to make the most of it! The excitement was real as we landed in Ho Chi Minh City, where we navigated through the airport, grabbed a quick Grab taxi, and made our way to the heart of the city. The currency here is interesting-Vietnam Dong notes go up to 10 lakh, which felt a bit surreal! 💸
We stayed close to the bustling Walking Street, a perfect location for a 24-hour adventure. The weather was hot, but the roads were clean, and the locals were friendly and welcoming. We got a local SIM card, explored 7-Eleven, and had an amazing breakfast at Dal Viet Seafood Soup Noodles - so delicious! 😋
Exploring the underground market "Taka" was fun, and we even stumbled upon a GS25, a popular South Korean convenience store chain. But my favorite part? A peaceful park right in the middle of a busy street, offering a calm escape from the city's hustle. 🌳❤️
