Great video on that scarifiers 👍🏻 I have an old Wolf Garten UV 32 B with a Kawasaki FA 76 D engine for smaller areas and lighter stuff. The great lawns I so with a Cramer/Remarc Cara 47. I would take a look at the Eliet too, those are very well made machines, would outlast many others.
Ive had my Eliet for 10 years and never worry about blades when transporting, you simply wheel it around with the front wheels off the ground. I also never worry about their 4mm measuring and always adjust to suit the lawn, conditions, soil and depth required. Really good machines and very basic with running gear which is what you want unlike others. As for adjusting height, its very quick to do and takes all of 3 to 4 mins at most to set blades and a single run line is a good test and you can always adjust from there.
Great video I just subscribed to your channel. Have you got a link to get a decent scarifier also do you think electric or petrol is better? My front garden is 50 ft by 8 ft about 40 square metres. Thanks 👍😎
Thanks for posting. . There are many 2-in-1 scarifies / lawn rakers for sale. Would this be a bit gimmicky? Would a scarifier on different height settings cover the job of the lawn Raker? Or maybe the two in one option is the way to go. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
I love my Eliet and I run it in with the wheels on one side raised on a wooden wall stud and avoid raising and lowering the height of cut. I removed and replaced the handnuts on the handle with pairs of nuts, secured with blue Loctite.
I used a eliet one on my work experience. It had a Honda mower engine sitting down basically. Not a posh one like urs. Lovley machine but as you say a pain to adjust height. Great video
Would love an Eliot but no stockists in my country. Have you ever experienced a pubert?(for commercial use). Currently running billy goat with flails but looking for a fixed blade machine for fine turf
Have you got a service video for the einhall blue scarifier . My dad has one, and I am new into lawn care. It is struggling to start so wanted to try and fix it. Also does the blade change to a spring type? Thankyou!
Hi Richard, There will be plenty of videos out regarding engines not starting. The engine is no different to any other small petrol engine (lawn mower's etc) but I would imagine it's possibly stale fuel or in need of a new spark, plug airfilter. Also it's quite basic homeowner model so I doubt there are options for tine changes. But if all else fails Toolstation sell them very cheap
Great video mate iv a weibang model iv it over 12 months and I have to say it's very gd setting the tines is annoying but it will take moss out big time
Great video. I have the Einhell red - haven't used for a few years but decided to give it another go. Doh left fuel in & carb clean didn;t work so ordered a new carb from Einhell Germany, before watching this video where you mention using Honda parts. Was it a Honda GX160 engine parts you used ?
@@bigbigmen9 I ordered from Einhell (before I seeing this video) but think it would be the Honda GX160 engine. However you'd have to check yourself to confirm
That height adjustment is enough to put me off ever considering buying one for domestic lawn rounds. Fine if it's in the shed at a single location. My Camon LS42 has a single hand screw at the front, no tools, takes seconds to adjust the height, and blades swing so never any worries about them scraping the ground.
I just love this fella !,, I find him honest ,realistic and great to watch and listen to......
Thanks Wayne

Thanks for your time and review. Very much appreciated..👍
@petersmith895 Thanks Peter,

Hi Jack. Score a mark once you have set the depth on the adjustment slider, so you can always reset it to that.

I’m sure the Eliet will give great results but that’s a lot of messing about to get a height adjustment and reset it at the end. Cheers for sharing
It is a bit, to be honest, i just leave it set up now, and just take extra care when wheeling it about.
Thanks for watching Tony

Great video. Looking for my first scarifier, found this really helpful. Cheers

With the Eliet I would rest it on a cushion in the van so you don't have to keep lifting the blades

Shame really with the eliet! Much prefer the single lever height change, save you a lot of time as you have said, nice comparison of the two bud 🌱👍🏼
Oh gosh now I know why I want an electric scarifier, the din at the end of your video plus the visible fumes. Good info though.
Would love an Eliot but no stockists in my country. Have you ever experienced a pubert?(for commercial use). Currently running billy goat with flails but looking for a fixed blade machine for fine turf
Having used quite a few different scarifiers over the years, I can highly recommend the Camon LS42, fantastic value for money.
agreed!

How many lawns do you mow a day / Scarify a day?
For a home owner how long would this last? If it is used 2-3 times a year?

Love the videos
Should I cut the grass very short before scarifying. ..?
Hi, my garden grass is mostly just weeds. What would be my first point of call to get grass only.
Hi mate looks good.
Was thinking of getting the einhell red like your blue one . Does it self pull itself along?
thanks for watching and yes the blue one does!
